Posting here as the site doesn't have it's own forum yet and this seemed the closest match.

Nice surprise to log in today to see if there's any new content to find myself accused of potentially being a 'pirate cunt' being one of the early subscribers to the site. I get the anger at people failing to understand content creation requires people to be paid, but that doesn't justify accusing legitimate customers.

The irony for me is I only subscribed to the site because I came across a scene floating around somewhere on the web which still had the site logo on display back in November.

It also assumes it is a customer responsible, another site I subscribe to advertised a scene which they never published, yet people in their forums were pointing out it was available on pirate sites on the day it was supposed to have been made available. As no customer could've accessed it that means it was either somebody with direct access (e.g. IT) or a backdoor to their servers.

Were you directly and personally accused, or did the news item state that "With only 4 people having joined this site early, we've spotted that a scene has been pirated already and uploaded to a tube site" ?

Also, we've ran stringent checks on the pirated content in question using our trace software (all of our content is watermarked) and can confirm that the piracy did indeed come from a direct download from the site.

Thanks!

No I wasn't accused directly, which I did acknowledge in my post (accused of potentially being...) and perhaps I was being oversensitive, but I'd seen no updates since I'd joined, then I'd seen the upload dates on the scenes that were available changed to later dates. Reading that on top of it wasn't exactly giving me the good customer experience you pride yourself on. So perhaps you can understand if I felt the need to rant a little.

You can rant - but the amount of people that it could have been who pirated that scene was a small handful. So you'll understand why we are more than a little upset.
The site has now been updated and will continue to update every Tues.
Thanks
