I'm not going to say this applies to stefon in particular, but there are guys whom view transexual porn, yet have never met or spoken to a transexual themselves. I wish more men would take the initiative to view trans women as something other than a fetish or a dirty tabbo thing they do behind their computer screens. I guess when I hear a man ask what a transsexual is considered, all I can say is "Wow what a dumb question", but I guess that it's not that obvious to most people. You know, the whole gender disphoria thing and hormones to become female and surgeries. I guess aside from that, it's hard to decipher if a transsexual idenitfies as male or female. I think that the trans world is really really really complex and if you're going to be man navigating it, choose your words carefully. I try not to overreact when men ask me what i call dumb questions, but sometimes it's hard not to when to me the answers are so blatantly obvious.

I think a lot of men go through their fetish phase of life and at some point come to the realization that tgirls are women and that they aren't all hypersexualized creatures that feed into their tabboo delights. I guess i find that whole view of tgirls to be very demeaning. Which is probably why i reacted the way I did. It's sorta demeaning to view a tgirl as anything but female or at least mostly predominately female.

I feel like a man who has hesitations with transsexuals just needs to jump right in. I've gone on a few dates with "first timers" and they were all really surprised at how heterosexual the dynamic was.

My interest in Tgirls started more than a decade ago...stumbled across some early Internet porn and was intrigued. Imagine being a man attracted to a beautiful woman and then seeing the "extra" equipment! lol

At that time I saw it for what it was porn (first I had to consider if it was fake though ), and still do. However, after having met and worked along side real transwomen, I've come to understand how the porn view of transsexual women as "shemales" marginalizes the accomplishments and efforts of everyday, non sex workers.

What you are saying is correct, they are sexualized but within that sexualization there is still room to present transgenders with respect for whom they are (models in fantasy, people in reality).

lol. Sean, dont get me wrong. I still have porn in the back of my head. I'm an exhibitionist at heart and part of me would get a huge kick out of doing porn.

However, the connotation that porn has is negative to most people who do not open their minds enough to enjoy it. It'll take decades to convince the world that porn acting is a respectable or even valid career. And I guess as a trans woman, I would like to align myself with cisgendered women and pursue my life's path without letting that get in the way.

Also, my mind set is that I ALREADY get recognized enough already. lol. So i'm sorta terrified at what doing porn will add to that. lol And i dont want to be known as a porn star, i want to be known as an artist. And with the very little experience I have with doing some self made amateur stuff I know that people tend to have a very strong memory. And i would hate for one of my employers in the future to get wind that I did porn and have that be what i basically do with my life.

I do find myself battling between doing porn and not doing porn. I think that I have the qualities to be an enthusiastic model. I'm just worried that would compromise all the years of work i've put into the career i'm trying to build.
