I can see how some people could feel that way, mostly because they focus on the physical aspects of their being, and not the core of who they are. I've been there once before with someone I was talking to, and had no problem with their decision. I've also known friends that decided to de-transition. It's not completely apples and oranges as I said I was also in a similar situation. I then also mentioned others who were just "friends". Ultimately, it grosses you out because you aren't entirely comfortable with yourself, and more to the point that individual you are referring to. Love is more than skin deep.
