Name me 1 ethnicity or creed in america that as a whole isn't overly homophobic...when the lgbt community singles out blacks as this evil unsympathetic monolithic group of peoplei lose a lot of respect for them and their plight. You don't gain equality by minimizing someone else's struggle or experience.
You think the majority of white folks in america support gay rights? Jews? Muslim? Hindu? Nope...they are just as opposed to gay rights as blacks are, if not more. In fact, sadly most blacks are indifferent to the whole thing as most, the vast majority do not vote unless its an issue tied directly to obama.
