streaming only websites?.... wtf???

I have my own personal feelings about streaming porn and I'm not saying we will never go to that model but there has to be some big changes made before that. I believe they are doing it to try and combat piracy but it's failed in that, as Franklin stated, it can be found more than any other sites, as it can easily be downloaded if you have the right software. In my opinion, it will drive people away from the website who are genuine customers.

I think the quality of work on that site is fantastic and some of the best tranny photographs I have ever seen but for my own tastes it suffers from being too artistic and not horny enough. I know I've never ever fantasized about the glamour era that they portray. I'm sure the models love it, being photographed that way but I doubt it could convert into a workable business model.

As it is, it looks like they're all ready offering it as a discount site as part of their SMC network thing that launched this week. I hope they keep producing new content but I can't see it being sustainable which is a shame.

I'm a Grooby and SMC supporter. I am disappointed that this site is still stream only after their attempt to avoid piracy failed and the site's traffic isn't so good. You're right it drives loyal members away.

As for tgirlpinups, I agree that it probably is too niche, but it could easily fore-go its misguided loyalty to 1950s glam and simply expand its representation of uber-glam to include regular scenes of models in extreme/dramatic femme-fatale mode, regardless of this or that decade.... If Tiffany Starr is modelling flesh colored stockings with garter belt and high heels, with gorgeous looking skin and hair and blood-red lipstick etc, then I really don't care if the scene is set yesterday or yester-year!

BUT, as long as they retain a stream-only policy (and even talk of expanding it to other SMC sites!) they will not get my support/subscription...

I would no sooner "rent-a-wank" from a website than I would from a magazine or DVD company.... If I buy/subscribe to a magazine or DVD, then I keep it under my bed and use it for a wank when I choose

There may be a DVD release, which I would buy (just as I buy grooby DVDs) ..... But I suspect most guys will be like me and not EVER renew their membership once they are appalled to discover that they cannot download the very wanking material that they themselves have financially supported!

We must not support porn companies whose express intent is to make schmucks out of us like this!

I like your ideas, but I have reservations on how successful my own site would be. Takes a lot of capital to do a site right, though I've tried finding people to invest before. Had a restaurant owner/friend totally on board, but his wife put the kibosh on that. I seriously need studio space, I turn down a lot of projects, cause I don't like the hotel suite setting for certain stuff and I refuse to do a project that would suffer from me not being able to be creative in the fashion I would like. Rather just stick to the regular BTG/YUM projects I know hotels are acceptable for.

My man, there are many tools that you can download to capture imbedded videos on porn websites which you have described.

I personally use Mozilla Firefox and they have a utility called download helper which is excellent and easy to use.

All you have to do is start playing the video, go to download helper tool, and you'll see the link to the file and then you download the file to your computer. I use it a lot for sites like [edited] and I download the .FLV files and play them on my computer.

I also recently had a membership to [edited] and all of her videos are embedded and you can't download anything because there are no links. If you get download helper, you can download all of the video on the site.

Alexa is fairly worthless for most serious analysis. Traffic is only part of the equation, sign up ratio is for more important.
Some of our smaller sites rank higher than our larger ones on Alexa.
