Why don't you show the before and after so that a true comparison of your skills can be made?

Usually, if you can readily tell there was photoshop done to the image, then you didn't do the job well enough.

I agree with the law they are trying to push for, where any images that are altered must be labeled as such.

Nice start. Keep it at and practice. You have a good eye, but the pics do look photoshopped which defeats the point. You want people to look at them and at MOST suspect its too perfect to be real. The point is to trick users into believing its real beyond a doubt.

You're overusing the dodge and burn tool to make the skin shiny. Dont try to add shadows and highlights that arent there. Just emphasize whats already there but dont over do it.

Also, dont be afraid to take out flaws (fat rolls, wrinkles, etc.) Just fixing the skin sometimes isnt enough. You have to go IN. Fix the hair, body shape, etc.

Interesting assessment, and also insightful on your photo editing technique.

I've seen some of your work in the past, of what I've seen the editing was
subtle if at all.

Do you tend to spend more time and energy in setting the right light,
composition, etc, as opposed to tweaking a less than perfect photo in post
production. Of course you can't correct a photo that just isn't good, but do
you as a rule edit the set to some extent, or do you release it as is.

Well, I dont edit my adult work. It kinda defeats the point.

As far as my other forms of photography, lighting is the key. If a photos is lit poorely - you cant save it in photoshop. So learn to light-to-edit is my motto. You're supposed to light in order not to edit but that takes years of experience. I spend a lot of energy making sure the picture is lit well, then I spend a lot of time in photoshop adjusting skin and correcting flaws. The more prettier the model, the less the flaws.

Again - my only work that I release as is, can be found on this site.

Thanks for the response, I shoot a little, and it is proper lighting
that I most attempt to master.
