...now wouldn't that be nice?!!! For the second time since their July/August '09 double-issue, Playboy has now published another with their January/February '10 issue. Wouldn't it be nice if Hugh Hefner finally face reality that t-girls would cause Playboy's ever declining circulation numbers to skyrocket? And, as a result, t-girl web site memberships would probably grow significantly, too, as a lot of people would finally discover and appreciate t-g beauty. Agree?

Playboy has a highly conservative readership. TG's in Playboy would probably cause subscription cancellations moreso than new subscribers. Now I think Playboy could market a Fetish Womens Magazine (Bondage, TG, Androgenous, Muscle, etc) under that guise it could be widely accepted because it wouldn't be strictly 'TG Porn". We still live a homo-phobic world and anything remotely related to the idea of Gay/HomoErotic Men in Playboy will not be considered. Even Playgirl markets Hetero men to the Female Gender despite the heavily Homo-erotic images of the men in their pages.

I am Not a marketing professional, I stayed in a Holiday Inn last night...LOL

I used to read my brother's Playboy's for the articles, I shit you not, really
great writng.

I also enjoyed Players but it seemed they didn't airbrush for shit, so there
were models with stretch marks, bullet holes, and cigarette burns.
But loved seeing the Sistas.

As I recall Hustler had a few transwomen in their magazine, not sure about
Penthouse.

Still want to know if we are talking about pre or post op transwomen, either
would be good for the community.

Now that's what I want in my magazines. None of this airbrush and make up I want to see all the bumps and bruises that life had to offer these models.:D

Naw baby, she's cute, but my vote
goes to Pam Grier in Players.

peggygee, just for the sake of discussion, let's imagine pre-op girls in PLAYBOY. Do you think there would be more negative backlash from its readers and subscribers or more positive results?

Sadly I think if the girls were to show "the package" there would be an
over-all furor with it's readership, though with some people converting
and discovering a new found interest. I also think the issue would sell
well, at least the first one.

Post op, there would be less uproar, particularly if she was attractive,
and the topic was presented properly, also would pique interest.

In my opinion print media is a dying medium, and Playboy and Hef are
representative of another era. Back in the day Playboy was cool, with
it's jazz festivals, clubs, etc., now they have lost a large portion of
their market-share and relevancy.
