Hey Surfer...just found out craiglist was censored because attorneys general from 17 states put pressure on craiglist to shut the adult section down because it promotes prostitution also they made reference to the fact that the craiglist killer..Phillip Markoff committed suicide in da big house...whatta bunch of bull shiggidy. Im thinking what will happen now is ..the section that reads..W4M will blow up like a balloon.

The prostitution tag and the fact that we "loathe" prostitution in this country due to our overly religious politicians started the deathwatch for the adult section. Craigslist held on because it was a huge revenue generator for them. However, after the incident that Turboman references and one here in the Chicago suburbs where a teen and a 19 yr. old boy were pimping 2 teen girls on CL, the "child prostitution" tag got attached which sounded the real death knell.
CL was caught in a catch 22: they had good revenue coming from these ads, but in order to verify the posters age and identity, they would have to subject the poster to admitting to solicitation and therefore become an accomplice to the crime. I wonder how long it will be before BP and maybe even Eros are pushed off as well?

if backpage joins them it looks like we'll have a sudden resurgence of the tgirl stroll

Ha, still too many other online venues for it to revert to that.

Exactly! Even that was mentioned this weekend on the evening news. But yes, that seems to be the migration path.
