Ok, so I will admit I don't keep any t-girl movies here at my home. So from time to time, I'll stop by somewhere like Insurrection to check out a scene or two in their movie booths. Well, recently I have noticed guys just hanging around the booths. Not watching movies, just hanging. So I haven't gone in because I don't want any of them watching or trying me. Whats up with that? Thoughts?

LOL!
OMG...I remember the days at the peep shows! Back when Times Square was 100% smut, certain theaters were crawling with the stalkers and lurkers and the sleaziest ones I always stayed away from. I was a regular though at Show World which was clean, safe and had trannies downstairs. This was the place I saw my first ever tranny movie. There was one movie I loved, a gg and two guys, her name was Andrea...and believe it or not Don Fernando was one of the guys. This was back late 70's. Anyway, Show World only had this loop for a short time and I began searching all the peeps for it. Of course I finally found it in one of the worst places you could imagine with stalkers galore and the booths had louvered bifold doors with only a simple hook and eyelet for a lock. Well I was a little nervous but was really horny and wanted to see my beloved Andrea and ventured in with my 8 quarters. After a few minutes of wanking I had a pretty good boner going and... BANG...this creepy lurker crashed open the flimsy door to catch me doing my dirty deed !

My friend told me about something like that happening to him. Some angry looking black guy was staring at him and he just ran outside and called my other friend who bought him to the place.

I really miss old Times Square. When I was 10 I was anxious to turn 18 so I could go back there... then I turned 13 and it was all gone. Damn you Giuliani... damn you!

Showworld was something else...At one time they had not only booths but a shemale strip club !!! Before that there was a smaller spot across the street with all live shemales up stairs behind the pullup glass....ohh the days of the DUCE

You brought back some memories. When I was 19 or 20 I used to hang around some of those 42nd Street places with the booths sometimes. (I'm in my 50s now.) You'd go in a booth, close the door behind you and drop a quarter to watch about 90 seconds of a tape loop. I even hustled a little when I needed some fast cash -- I was a tall skinny white kid with a big dick.

I remember one adult book store and peep show on 7th Avenue just off 42nd, where I saw my first black shemale film. She was a dark-skinned girl named Alexis and had floppy tits and an uncut dick and she was having sex with a white hetero couple, if I remember right. I think it was more a novelty than a turn-on to me. It was few years later that I had sex with a TG for the first time.

I went into a place on 42nd near 8th Avenue early one afternoon and on the second floor there was a curved row of booths that featured live models on a little stage. You could also go into a special booth for an individual private show with a stripper behind glass. I went in one of the booths where you could see the stage show and there was a tranny showing her stuff to a guy in another booth. I didn't go into one of the private show booths because they were more expensive and I was always on a tight budget those days. Most of the places that had booths like that featured GGs. I went into those a few times too.

Those places were sleazy and dirty and sometimes you'd step in a puddle of cum on the floor of the peepshow booth. There was a sense of danger in that part of Times Square, especially at night. I always left a place if there were rougher hustlers hanging around and went somewhere else.

There was a gay bookstore, I think it was called the Ballpark, on 8th that was up a flight of stairs. It had a backroom with peepshow booths. You had to pay some money to get into that area. I never went in the backrooom. A friend told me that there were lots of assaults there and once someone tried to throw a guy out of the window.

There was a whole world of gay and straight peepshows, adult bookstores, porno movie houses, backroom bars, bathhouses, and other places that used to exist in New York that began to vanish in the mid 80s because of AIDS and crackdowns, and then disappeared almost entirely when Giuliani was elected Mayor in the 90s. Times Square has had a complete makeover, with the sleaze joints replaced by Disney, Broadway kitsch, and Las Vegas neon for the turistas. One kind of porn replaced by another, you might say.

Back in those days, "adult entertainment" was something you experienced in public most of the time, unless you bought a magazine or a super-8 film to take home. Everything is different now, even though you can still find places with peepshow booths.

As a native New Yorker, I learned a fair amount about transsexualism from
"the deuce".

Back in the day, before the Net there were the adult bookstores that folks
have alluded to, and I purchased many magazines and books on the topic.

But I really spent alot of time in the research sections of the Byant Park
library, going through the medical books and scholarly tomes.

I actually thought that got a little better with some of those places moving up to 47 and 48 streets. But yeah those folks creeped me out too. But i would have that "don't make tonight your last" look on my face cause them kats use to turn face when i come through. One time i had to tell this dude to get the fuck back one time. but i loved the deuce back then.
