View Full Version : What constitutes a tranny chaser?

I've been kind of curious about this for a while but never asked. What makes someone a tranny chaser? I'd like to know whether or not I fall in that category or not. Although from the sound of it I'd hope I don't.

a man who is obssessed with seem how many tgirls he can sleep with. Generally not really seeing transsexuals as more than a fetish. Would rather sit around and boast about how many hot passable tgirls he got to fuck him in the ass than he would about his new transsexual girlfriend.

Ah, then I am definitely not that. Although I can never find transexuals to date. All I ever find are escorts on craigslist... yay. -__-

we're not all like that. i find a lot of girls succumb to that because of most tranny chasers.

I would hope so. The only time I met any trannies they were looking for sex... I felt so used... >_>
I wish I were kidding..

It's not as nice as it sounds... Or maybe it is and I'm not taking advantage of it... Hum... Still, it's nice to spend time with someone is all I'm getting at... y'know, non-sex time.

The term "tranny-chaser" basically carries the same negative connotation as a female saying "dog, or player" to describe a guy. A guy who runs through the transgender population, sleeping with them and not establishing a relationship.
Take it's use with a grain of salt as some girls will just call any guy a "tranny chaser" simply because he watches the porn or may have been with a trans before.

Yeah, there is a certain type of girl who claims only to be interested in dating guys who aren't "tranny chasers" ie; the guy doesn't normally date transsexuals and usually gender girls or "isn't really into tgirls". Frankly, they're kidding themselves - I think those guys just don't tell them that - they tell them what they want to hear.
I don't understand why a tgirl wouldn't want to date a guy who was looking to date a tgirl ... seems like the right match?

In part, perhaps. I think that the process of transition-ing, plays a bigger part in why trans turn to escorting. The quick cash, to help fund wardrobe, make-up, meds, and surgeries and/or sil is very attractive, being quicker and more lucrative than the typical bi-weekly payout from a 9-5. However; I do again concede that men fantasying and only wanting trans for sex does play a role too.

I guess you're right. I'm the sorta girl that likes to date a guy who's just COMFORTABLE with himself more than anything else.lol. I mean, this type of guy who i'd call a tranny chaser, wouldn't really be able to see me as a dateable girl, but a young black chick with a big dick. lol.

On another topic, I'll start with this, I'm not an outgoing guy, so meeting people in general is difficult. Thus meeting a transgirl is even harder outside of the internet... now sure that works for some people, but... I look really creepy in all my pictures... So... I guess what I'm saying here is... help?
Not sure I can help, CosmicTravler. You seem like a sincere guy, which is a step in the right direction. In my (limited) experience, the best way to find a GF is the friend-of-a-friend network, the idea being that if you know lots of friends, and if you're a nice guy, someone eventually hooks you up. It works pretty well for GGirls but it never worked for me with TGirls. For them I suspect it might work better if one has gay friends, which I almost never had, not because I avoid them but just by circumstance.
Some guys here subscribe to BGC and other online dating sites. It's not my thing, I'd rather try my luck in a bar face-to-face. But I haven't done that for awhile because I have enough people in my life at the moment.
As for the original question, a "tranny chaser" is a guy who goes from one TGirl to another, perhaps in some cases misleading them or taking advantage of their vulnerabilities. I've heard complaints about them from the few TG I've gotten to know, and the HA forum is full of complaints about this phenomenon.

I so hate the term.
If there were no so-called tranny chasers, 90% of these T-Girls would be broke. Usually, the ones that often say they don't want a chaser are the easiest and cheapest ones to run through or I see their ads on eros and backpage giving "specials."
How can you expect a guy to seriously court you and NOT want to fuck when you are an escort?
I respect the hustle and the ladies in the sex trade (nude pics, flicks, and escorting), but don't be selling your services if you are criticizing guys that want to have sex. IT MAKES NO SENSE.
It just seems hypocritical to me.
For the regular T-Girls that aren't selling themselves for money and hate chasers, I understand where you are coming from.
^ I agree it's confusing. What some of them say is that getting compensated monetarily is only fair since they don't get compensated with respect or with emotional commitment. This is not my idea; it's what I've read and heard. The usual push-back against this idea is that this is a rationalization for their behaviour. Maybe. I don't really know. But I think there's often a serious problem with their perceived value as women to those type of men. A little understanding can potentially go a long way .... depending on what you want. ;)

I've heard that kind of rationalization from a self-proclaimed gold digger. I don't know how much gold a high school girl can dig for but... that's what she was saying. Also, thanks for your tips MrF. As for having a hook-up Cane has actually been pretty helpful. I think the biggest problem is the fact that I never know what to say.

What he said. Some girls take bad experiences to blanket every man they meet.

It's just a matter of perception. I've personally taken the "Chaser" role and made my own and it has yet to slow down my social life. So take the word how you wish.
F.Y.I. Some of the baddest escorts who currently post ads in Philly's Back Pages tend to make fun of all my "chaser" profiles....
But that never stops them from calling me up on those lonely snow filled nights!

I think the problem is this:
A lot of girls do sell or profit off of their transgendered status. So men do tend to not take us seriously. I think men are shocked to meet a girl that isn't selling it. Men are always shocked ot hear that I"m not a hooker, escort or porn star. And generally since a lot of men are used to dealing with women like that who see men as dollar signs rather than humans, lot of trans attracted men treat women like chicks with dicks rather than chicks, if you get my drift.
my advice is this, no matter how much a girl might turn you on, be a gentleman. If you want to date a girl, then be treat her like any other girl you'd be interested in seeing. As a trans girl, we're used to dogs and men who disrespect us. So the best way to get us is to surpass our expectations.
Why a guy would want to date a hooker or any woman that sells sex is beyond me.

Oh boy, here you go assuming that i'm some dumb bitch who's just sat up in suburbia all her life.
If you want to date a prostitute, that's on you. But I personally feel like that's asking for trouble. Perhaps I'm wrong and I do know of some women who are sex workers or sell their transgendered status who do have relationships. However, I think that a man who is expecting to find a quality connection with a woman who profits off of her own exploitation, should perhaps look elsewhere. I know there are good girls in the business, but I've often found that all men are to some extent jealous. I haven't heard of many successful relationships where one of the parties is doing something that is generally considered something intimate between lovers.
If you're a comfortable man who is ok with seeing your girl with multipul partners, then go you! It's great to find that sense of security in a man. Most men, however just aren't that secure. And honestly you really have to consider that for a lot of transsexuals, their body and their beauty is their commodity. It's what helps the sustain their transition and it's what helps them survive.I've met plenty of tgirls who do not have an education or any way to support themselves aside from the life of sex work. And when that's your life and your world, it's hard to build those strong connections. And generally the things that most sex workers do, would cause a rift in a relationship.
Please feel free to correct me if I'm incorrect in any way shape or form. But i'd say MOST men wouldn't feel comfortable -dating- a prostitute. Like i said, correct me if I'm wrong.
And as someone who has been previously exploited sexually, I can tell you that while sex may be great, when it's what you have to do and it's your duty, it takes on a different context. And maybe I'm the only tgirl that feels like this since my opinions are obviously so closedminded and inexperienced, but I would MUCH rather have a man respect me for the thousands of other things i can do for him aside from sex. I find relationships are better when you can tolerate eachother even when you aren't having sex. Like I said, again correct me if I'm wrong.
Maybe I"m the only one that feels like this, but I want an actual connection. A romantic and emotional connection. Sex is a given. And often times when i've tried to date a guy because he's hot or he has a big dick, that's the only good thing about him. I'd rather settle for a 7 with a personality and a great brain than a 10 with absolutely nothing going for him.

When people tend to treat you like you're just a wallet it's hard to see them as people. So it's not so far fetched that people would be unable to think of an escort as a person. Not saying it's a personal view of mine, but that's not an uncommon view I'm sure.
