In the interest of getting people together and actually making friends. I've decided to inquire into people's musical tastes.

I've been listening to this song almost non-stop for quite some time.

This little number however has become my walking theme.

( After trying two times to get it to show up in video form, it still didn't... Forgive me... I have failed. )

I don't recognize all the names but I do see a few key ones. Namely Cee-Lo, Gil Scott Heron and Outkast. I didn't list my whole list of musical acts since I wasn't sure I'd get any responses though.

Generally though my tastes are pretty varied. Even a country song or two. ( If you remember the one song from the original Grand Theft Auto, I used to listen to that plenty... and sometimes Sweet Home Alabama. >_> )

Free Bird!!!!! :p I can go for some country too, but I'm heavily into various genres of Rock, backpack hip hop & stuff made circa 2002 are cool too, classical, and jazz. Too many bands to list though, Tool is my favorite. ;)

My favorite band is a rock band from Japan called The Street Beats. They're aren't too big outside of Japan though. But I'm planning to go to Japan in August to see them live. As far as solo artists my favorite is Diggy-MO' a Japanese hip-hop artist. Frankly the guy is just incredible, so many styles of music and not a single track between his two albums and singles that I don't like.

I'm also a big fan of Queen and Daft Punk, the two bands I posted above I picked up fairly recently but they're definitely amongst my favorites. As far as American Hip-Hop, my tastes are retroactive. I usually won't like any thing until it can be considered old. But there are a few exceptions. Busta, Biggie Eminem Ludacris and when I was reeeeaaalllly young... Kid'N'Play. Why was a 3 year old watching House Party? For the same reason he was watching porn... mature for his age.

That's a pretty solid listing. Although I find your remark about KRS-One funny because whenever I think of him I think of the song where he talks about being a blunt being smoked. My cousin used to listen to it constantly. Not to say it isn't true, but that song sticks out most when I think of him.

Quick question, who would you rather dress like? George Clinton or Bootsy Collins? And yes... if this if your first night at Choice Club... you have to Choice... I mean pick. Pick...

I'm currently listening to Bad Meets Evil (Eminem and Royce the 5'9) It's listed as an EP but 8 out of the 9 tracks are solid in my opinion.

As far as R&B Kem is good as well as Cee-lo
