The earlier statements regarding animals, are toward my thoughts about rejoining PETA. I have been dedicating more and more of my free time to various causes that are important to me, and with a dry spell in filming may volunteer more time with Greenpeace. Go hug some trees and all that good stuff. I recently spent some time with a group of like-minded people cleaning up some of our local wetlands. I actually felt horrible whilst doing it, due to bugs everywhere, blistering heat, disgusting trash and muck in our waterways. After I got home and showered though I did feel a lot better and was glad I did it. :)

I have little stomach for politics and stroking egos and I'm coming across more and more of that in this Industry. If you are familiar with Tool's Aemena, I'm one of those individuals hoping for a nice cleansing of our Earth to set things right, starting with the city mentioned in that song. :)

Everything and nothing really. The issues I take up range far and wide. lol It is hot! I just stepped outside, and wow it's really blazing already! What made this "the best morning in a while"? If you don't mind my asking.

Makes sense. I wanna know some. I like information. Don't make me poke you until you tell me. I'm going to do my damnedest not to leave the house today. At least not until nightfall... not until... my time... *hiss*

Also, I won't say much, just that she took it and made it hers, and good god was that wonderful.

I forgot you're a bleeding heart of sorts. I'm rather indifferent to it for the most part, save for the abuse of animals. If the great apes were to wipe all other things from the earth they only damn themselves. I will be long dead before I see and the day the sun collapses in on itself will make all struggles before it meaningless anyhow. I'm more of a nihilist than anything. - _-

As for politics... Well I never pay much attention to them. Seems to me all politicians are just snakes in the grass anyhow. I'm the only one looking out for my interests.

I think humanity's downfall will come long before the sun engulfs the planet. Even now, Mother Nature is hard at work on removing the plague that is humanity. We kill and destroy any and everything for the sake of capitalism.

There were many humans who lived in harmony with the earth. And still some who do. However there has been a major corrupting influence. I won't name names.

From dehumanization to arms production,
For the benefit of the nation or its destruction
Power is power, the law of the land,
Those living for death will die by their own hand,

Life's no ordeal if you come to terms,
Reject the system dictating the norms

From dehumanization to arms production,
To hasten this nation towards its destruction,

It's your choice, your choice, your choice, your choice,
Peace or annihilation

This has been my favorite song since I first heard it. Unfortunately ( for you ) there aren't any subtitles. But the main idea is being one's self and always pushing forward to toward your hopes and dreams.

Nice! Who needs subtitles when you have a kick ass band, crows, on beat fist pumping crowd, energetic fight sequence, and a whole video with near perfect hair style participants! :)

How did that show go? I think it was at the Trash Bar, with the hot chic you were to meet. ;) When you mentioned having a double fellatio session the other day I thought, "hmm I wonder if he got lucky with the band chic?" lol

If we ever meet, I'll be glad to bring that movie so we can watch it. Easily my favorite movie along with the 2nd one.

The show was good. We arrived late due to google maps not factoring in a certain train not working. But other than that and the very long walk I had to take because I got off at the wrong stop after a trip that lasted about an hour longer than it would have... When we finally got there it was cool. The crowd was small, mostly dedicated fans. The band was awesome, and me and Emma met a couple of people after the show. But, no I didn't get lucky with the band chick.

It is the FireFox app that I use to insert whatever song I'm currently listening to, into my post on the forums. The developers have yet to release an update for this new Fire Fox 5. Had I known that I probably would have held off on updating Mozilla.

With all the nag screens from Firefox, and IE of late, it has been hard to not
update your browser.

I gave in on two of my computers, and regretted it, as a number of apps I
depend on aren't supported, or don't work properly.

It's downloadable. About 6 gigs maybe... I'll be home around 12 or so, if you're still up I'll take advantage of bringing pizza home to wrestle control of the TV away from Emma and our guest.

Sounds like a good idea, but I think I'll stick with my regular 32 inch. Sony is concentrating now on making the most technologically advanced systems. Gone are the days of practicality. Their making their system as flashy as possible b/c since it is Linux-based, not many developers want to make games for them & Sony stopped commissioning exclusive games a while ago... You should still get the system though, I just wouldn't get your hopes up on the level of awesomeness towards the system as a whole...

I'm really not cool with the network getting haqd, but I feel as I'm committed to somewhat gloat about the perks of my system, seeing as how I won't be getting an Xbox or Wii anytime soon... The way I see it, I may as well be happy in my misery than to take a chance on an unpromising utopia...

Actually, there are a fair few games I've been wanting to play. I had the PS2 and big fan of Killzone, That's how I got into clans and Game Battles.

lol You know what, I use to smoke cigarettes and I would stay up all night no problem as long as I had my Camel Turkish Golds or Crush, but I've given up the habit going on 4 months now and I simply can't stay up as late.

Ah Sorry, Call of Duty = CoD. Call of Duty: Black Ops to be exact. The other is Left 4 Dead 2 = L4D2 I like L4D2 as you can play as the "infected" in Vs mode and it's overall pretty fun, the downside is that like most Valve games it's very run and gun with little skill requirement, and no gun customization options.

CoD has a nazi zombie mode along with the standard military arcade shoot em up multi-player game. I prefer the Nazi Zombie mode over other zombie games as the game play is the most realistic, with weapons having a more realistic feel, even though some are futuristic which does counter to what I've just said lol Still, there's something to be said for being able to aim down the sights. :)

Yes, that's the episode I watched this morning, fucking hilarious!!

Just got around to watching 2nd episode of Breaking Bad. Love the debate over which zombie video game is best, between Left 4 Dead, Resident Evil, and Call of Duty, though they left out Dead Rising. I had to agree with the sentiment of Call of Duty being best in particular because they are Nazi Zombies

CosmicTraveler

Nazi zombies are easy though. There's no debate about killing them. They're nazis. You get regular zombies, you're initially torn about killing someone who used to be your neighbor or friend, and eventually have to work your way into a cold hearted mentality in order to survive. Nazi zombies? Pfft, I could kill nazi humans.

While I agree with your moral view of slaying Nazi zombies versus regular zombies, in my mind, you are getting a bullet to the head regardless of whether you were once my neighbor or a Nazi. However; Nazi zombies have a leg up in that they did all kinds of experiments attempting to create a 'superior race' along with their natural evil inclinations granting them a voracious energy from the depths of hell that grants them special abilities that stand above your typical zombie.

Well sure it's easy to shoot your neighbor...... But what about your granny? Not many people can make that decision as easily as I could. Experiments are all well and good, but when you have no idea what the hell it is that actually created the zombies chasing you down the street with ravenous hunger, it's a lot more frightening, not to mention they send soldiers to deal with Nazi zombies. But regular zombies are in the general population, they come running out of the deli next door slapping your sandwich to the ground and trying to eat you instead. Besides, you show me one nazi zombie that can take on a tank...

I've never watched an episode of that show Jersey Shore, and if memory serves correctly it's a reality show. I couldn't believe that this was what had become of people... and more so when I found out that friends I'd had for a long time had also watched the show... but when I found that out, I found another side of it... A side that had not been presented to me because I had not consulted anyone as smart as me about watching the show. And then I heard it. Something that should have been obvious to me all along.

" It's fun to watch people who are stupid. "

I continued to resist, but I knew in my heart that I too had a fascination with watching people make complete asses of themselves. For me it was akin to a man living amongst bears to learn how they operate, but without having to deal with them... so I watched... and I learned... and I laughed. And before I knew it, even I was hooked by the antics of these ridiculously orange people. I was for some time ashamed of myself... and then I remembered I could give a fuck what anyone else thinks... So I watched, and I laughed, and I occasionally though about how I'd like to bang one of these strange orange women... for no reason other than... I am horny... horny, sirs and madam...

I was a bad student. I spent 8 years in high school. What could I say... I never went to class. I still remember truant officers rolling up on me and my friends at 10 in the morning while we stood on the corner waiting for one of our hang-outs to open. I was 20 they were 19. ( I wasn't a ring leader... We were our own men. - _- ) They asked us why we were in high school, we all looked at each other and turned back to them with the same thought " Don't you see us standing on a fucking street corner at 10 in the morning? You're lucky. Any learning I did in school was more often than not interrupted by whatever dipshits happened to notice me that day. Well, sometimes. Other times I simply wasn't there. Usually whenever I decided to go to a class I did mediocre work to keep them from expecting me to do high quality work. There were more than a few teachers that saw past that ruse. And they were usually the ones I respected. High school wasn't the start of my misanthropy, just the place where it manifested in my heart the strongest. If I'd actually done my work and graduated on time I wouldn't have met the friends I have now. So it was more than worth it.

I have worn many 'hats' when it comes to working. The only job that I really despised was working for MCI/Worldcom. I truly felt like a bad person doing those times, tricking people into switching their long distance and such. I was good at selling too, and the money and hours were great, the problem was that I had a conscious. I was most happy when Worldcom went down in fiery flames along with Enron.

Ok, well based on your previous statements regarding horror movies, I don't think you'll like Scream 4. In fact, I think at worst, watching it may cause you to go on a killing spree. lol Your disdain for characters lack of logical thinking will leave you, at best, wanting to throw something at the tv. So, after hitting play, give the remote control to one of the girls. :)

I actually enjoyed watching Scream 4. Especially on account of all the actors/actresses from various tv shows that I watch that got killed in the movie. I feel, when watching the horror genre and the slasher sub genre in particular, you have to just enjoy it for what it is. Not what you would do in their situation, which would likely be way more logical than what happens on screen.

Now, I'm going to lower my expectations just a little bit more than I did for Scream 4 and see how this "Priest" movie goes. :)

I'll give it a once over and try to enjoy what happens. Truth be told Halloween was the only series that I was ever able to do that with because the way Micheal Meyers himself goes about things is generally much smarter than anyone else. He's a damn hunter. And also Donald Pleasance's performance always intrigues and amuses me. Dr. Loomis had no problem blowing away a little girl and frankly... after 3 movies ( 1,2 and 4, for some reason they skipped three. >_> ) I understand.

You are basically God controlling the environment instead of the actual people and causing/preventing natural disasters on this primitive planet. Requires a serious amount of strategy to keep the tribes alive. Within the first 10 minutes I think I caused the biggest natural disaster, with a massive tsunami on one end and a fiery Volcano spewing liquid death on the other. Not the greatest movie I've ever seen, but be damned if I wasn't rooting for the Apes to take over the world.

I would have liked the movie better with less time being spent on the research of what makes the Apes smarter. Nothing new there, stupid and greedy humans fucking with mother nature in their quest for financial gain. More time should have been spent with them taking over human civilization, and how they form their own civilization. As much as I like James Franco, (Milk anyone!?!) the human actors performances felt phoned in. The highlights of the movie are all the Ape action sequences, which there are many, but just shy of being 'enough'. Also, there were some cool Easter Eggs, in the movie "Lost in Space" that made me smile from ear to ear and reminded me of the Easter Eggs Marvel is wont to drop in their films

It almost pains me to say this as I am a huge Tim Burton fan, but this was better than the remake. Though now, I feel like buying that and watching again to see if this franchise does have some legs for more movies down the line, because I gotta say, I do enjoy the Planet of The Apes universe they've created and brought forth to the modern times. Better than some of the recent Aliens taking over the world movies.

Very good point!!! I'm glad you said as much, as people also always feel the need to separate themselves from "animals" in general. There was a point in the movie, where a particularly nasty guy says "get your filthy ape hands off of me" or some such. I was thinking, dude you are the one sweating and covered in dirt, apes spend copious time grooming themselves and is likely far cleaner than him.

It actually represents the fact that humans like to feel superior because of our intellect, but given just a slight boost to the other apes and they clearly stand stronger and better suited to survival compared to humans.

The intellect of man has indeed set it apart from the animals. But at the same time, it has set it apart from nature as well. As I sit here on this laptop inside this cramped basement apartment from where I cannot see the sky, I wonder just what the cro-magnon man would think, could he think, of the way we live today... And then, having said cro... I want to go watch Cro. >__>

Is it man's nature to be violent? To subdue all that is around him including his brethren? To treat his mate not as an equal, but as an object? Even if man were to one day reach the utopia he so often seeks... would he then seek to control it? Is it possible at all for man to find peace of mind or to grant it to others? Or is man's peace of mind within the lack of peace within the world...?

Stupid brain... shut up!!! .....

There we go...

Quite true... if there weren't soldiers, my plan to induce anarchy would already be formed and in action. A lot of people don't seem to appreciate what soldiers do because they don't have to see it. A friend of mine from high school just came home from Iraq, so I've always been glad not to see his name on any lists for wounded or deceased. I guess if the show isn't on their TV, they just don't care.

Just got around to watching a movie I acquired a week or two ago starring The Office (US) alum Rainn Wilson, Ellen Page, Liv Taylor, and Kevin Bacon.

The name of the movie is "Super" and if you've seen the movie "Kick-Ass" it is most similar to that, when comparing to other superhero films. However; this film is decidedly darker with a more convoluted message, while still supplying some great laughs. Also, like "Kick-Ass" I seriously do not recommend allowing children to watch "Super". It is not that kind of Superhero movie (family friendly) despite the fanciful colors and comic drawings, this is rightfully an "R" rated affair, and I wouldn't want it any other way.

I'm not exactly sure what this reboot entails, but it doesn't seem like it's a complete revamp of everything DC. It might have something to do with the current Flashpoint storyline where Professor Zoom has reworked the entire world by changing something in the past and making it so that Barry Allen never becomes The Flash.

As far as that's concerned, Cyborg is a world famous hero, Superman is in Government captivity and never became The Man of Steel, Bruce Wayne was killed, Thomas Wayne became Batman and Martha Wayne became The Joker, Hal Jordan never became a Green Lantern because Abin Sur survives the crash, Wonder Woman and Aquaman's respective countries are at war which has led to the destruction of Great Britain and the occupation of France as well as war all over the country, Dick Greyson has become Dr.Fate... there's a lot of shit going on... but I'm guessing when it's all over, that's what'll be the new start of DC. Thing that keeps it from becoming a habit mainly is that the cigarette doesn't provide me any particular pleasure. Haha good one. Yeah, i'm not going to smoke a cigarette around those that don't participate. It's rather calming for me, in the habitual aspect of something that use to bring some small comforts. My cigs are only $5.25/pack but this is a tobacco farming state, along with NC.

5.25? That's such a deal that I may move to Virginia and take up smoking just to be in on it. It's damn near 10 bucks here.

No deli's to walk to at 3am here though. Clubs close at 2am and turns to ghost town after that. Quiet, low crime, still lots of fun activities, but it's far from being NY. Actually, this is a place a lot of NY residents come to get away to. We have lots of former NY people here. Conversely, our economy is heavily propped up by the huge amount of military families. Over 13 bases within a 60 mile radius and lots of IT and Labs companies, as well as shipyards so we didn't experience the same level of recession as most areas.

Yeah I don't go to clubs... So that's no drawback. Low crime means that there's room for me to move in and take over... Then again the Military being there... maybe not. >_> It doesn't sound too bad, with the exception that Virginia is the living place of the first girl who ever showed me what absolute devastation can feel like... come to think of it, I'd probably wipe the whole place off the map if I could. Tetsuo style... - ___-

I always liked how Adrien Brody looked... That's a really unique face. You can't mistake him for anyone....... damn him.

Funny you should mention that, as I took a call from a model whilst watching, and said that he looks so different and unique, I'd give him a romp! lol Plus, I've enjoyed all his roles thus far, my favorite I think is The Jacket http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0366627/

Just watched The Tempest http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1274300/ Big screen adaptation of the Shakespeare play. Excellent cast and very good film, though it's strictly in Shakespearean English so be prepared for that.

Indeed, one of the few Shyamalan movies that I didn't care for too much, though it was ok. I was, for some odd reason under the impression the movie would be about Leprechauns when I went to theater to see it lol So it having nothing to do with that left me *meh* Well, you can always count on him to have a "Twist" I would have preferred the Leprechauns lol Despite the movie, Brody's performance was right where it needed to be, it wasn't his fault the movie wasn't that good.
