Hi all, just wondered what's become of Miriam Rivera aka Victoria?, i do remember reading a couple years back that she had bad encounter with some guy/guys who beat her and threw her out of her apartment window/balcony resulting in lots of hospital time/surgery, last thing i heard was that she had fully recovered but moved away from the reality tv show stuff and kinda vanished i guess, she was quite a stunner in and out of makeup

I decided to look that up not too long ago. I found way too many varying reports. Some of which stated it never happened at all, others saying she was just fine and had moved on with her life and career. If someone could clear this up for me as well that'd be great. I hate not having proper information on something I'm interested in. Irks the hell out of me.

Never heard of her before today. She has a wiki page though which just reconfirms what was said here. No info after 2008 though.

Yeah I'd seen that page a number of times before I decided to look up some aftermath information a week or so ago. And still nothing. I actually remember reading a post by Danielle Foxx where she said she got her SRS because she was tired of worrying about something like this happening. ( As well as just generally wanting to I'm sure. )

What do you mean by "...something like this happening" ? :confused:

Being attacked or thrown out of a window by some guy that for whatever reason wasn't aware she was a trans and went into a rage. I don't mean to seem like I'm downplaying it, I just didn't feel the need to reiterate. Maybe I should have. >_>;;

Ah I see. Well, anyone can be burglarized, doesn't matter if Pre, Post, natal female or male. There isn't enough in the wiki to lead me to believe she was targeted because she was trans. Also, no offense to the girls, but criminals (robbers) will always target other criminals (escorts), easy prey that can be caught slipping. Just schedule an appointment like any other client and go to session, take account of all the gear they may want. Come back a 2nd time and grab whatever they want. They don't even have to schedule a 2nd time, just sit and wait to catch the escort slipping. Dangerous business people involve themselves in.

Yeah. Like when I had an idea to rob minor drug dealers because they couldn't go to police... of course it was mostly a joke but... theoretically, it could work... worked like all hell for Omar Little. It wasn't until he let things get personal that they fell apart.

Indeed, loved that show, and think he's a great actor, even if he is a character actor. Was pleasantly surprised to see him in Boardwalk Empire

I was surprised to see him in I think I hate my wife. Although not so surprised when his character snapped and beat the hell out of Chris Rock's character.

eh, I just went back and read what her show was about. Talk about setting the trans movement back, another shining example of why all reality shows should be scrubbed from media. :rolleyes:

Yeah I read about that show. That was a pretty awful idea. They had to imagine that it wouldn't go over well with the guys involved but reality TV doesn't exactly appeal to people who like to think so I guess they didn't care.
