I'm not sure if I see the problem? You simply click "save as" and then open them when they've downloaded?

... but you can watch them? Either streaming or "save as" download and watch them from VLC player?

Or is there some other issue?

Hmm, that is interesting. Are you using Windows 7, all codecs updated?

Do you get an error message?

Can you post a screen cap of what appears when you try to play file unsuccessfully?

I'm using Windows 7 and have not had any issues with my Windows Media Player at all on my desktop. I have just queued a video from this week and last weeks updates on my laptop which doesn't get as much use and may not have all the latest updates, to see if that has any issues with the files.

Now playing: Orgy - Blue Monday (http://www.foxytunes.com/artist/orgy/track/blue+monday)

I cant watch them now...When I get the save as option it starts this long download process that takes forever, and once complete, still cant see the video...The streaming option does not allow me to see the entire screen for some reason..It chops off half the screen...The old way worked for me...All I had to do was click low/med/or high, and the video would switch to windows media, buffer for about ten seconds, and away we went!!! Now, its requiring me to open/save----then taking forever to download, and when complete the download box disappears, and still no video....

*Update*

Even on my laptop lacking latest Windows Updates, both files from last and this week updates played just fine in Windows Media Player. *scratching head*

Now playing: Orgy - Re-Creation (http://www.foxytunes.com/artist/orgy/track/re-creation)
via FoxyTunes (http://www.foxytunes.com/signatunes/)

Can you try downloading VLC player from http://www.videolan.org

It's free and has no spyware or junk (less than windows media even).

Are you using any type of download managers?

Typically right click and save as (or save as when you click on the file) and download. Once downloaded open it in VLC player.

There should be no speed issues.

If you are continuing to have problems please send username, op system, location directly to me at admin@grooby.com and we'll try a work around.

Thanks

I've made a change which should prevent this from happening again.

On a related topic:

Does anyone here use a Western Digital device that enables you to view downloaded vids on your TV?...

Basically, you attach a portable hard-drive to the device (with your grooby vids on), then attach the device to your TV, and now you can enjoy gorgeous grooby shemales on the big screen...

There is a slight issue though: I'm finding that some of the wmv vids play just fine, while others have to be converted to avi for them to play properly...

In most cases, a wmv vid will play, BUT, if I want to fast-forward it on TV, it cancels the vid and goes back to the main menu again???

Vids by Frank, Buddy, and Jack play no problem using this device, but most other vids have to be converted to avi to play properly on TV (including Remy's, which is really bothersome cos her's are consistently my faves lol)

All vids in question are WMVs, so I'm struggling to see why some play fine and some don't...?

I'm a bit of a tech-caveman, so would really appreciate any help

SHAUN xx

If you "lose" the download after its downloaded, chances are its downloaded to the default folder named "downloads". It's usually in the top level Users folder (or the actual username of the account you may be logged into if you have multiple login accounts on your OS)

Good Luck! :)
