Meh it's kind of a touchy subject......I mean there's no ill will toward any in particular but from a shallow POV for all that bs that guys go through to be with a TS I personally would rather have a ts who has a dick as the reward. Otherwise I'd just be with a genetic female.

Now speaking as someone of substance, if I meet a lovely woman and after a while we start feel each other exclusively but it turns out that she just happens to be post-op. then so be it.

I don't want no more kids anyway!

Most girls who end up with SRS usually are not interested in doing porn, especially if they were pre-ops doing porn. They retire and go on to a diffrent chapter in their lives. The only woman i know that is doing really well in porn is Danielle Foxx.

A lot of them start porn just to get it. And that takes years in any case. So at that point I guess they either feel like they got what they need or they're just burnt out. I'm guessing though, not like I have an inside look at things.

As Cos said some are in porn just to get it. Also once they have it they feel as their "stock" goes down, because they lose some of their fan base and clientele.

Right. When they lose the whole chick with a dick factor, there are likely a lot of fans who lose interest. I remember all the complaining that fans did when Danielle Foxx got her SRS, which ultimately led to her letting them know she didn't give a fuck. Worked out fine for her, but for plenty of girls not so much I guess.

Not in the sex industry, but if I was I wouldn't show my vagina or have sex on any trans-related site.

And though I'm not in the industry, I am very proud of my body, how everything turned out, and often-times am tempted to "flash the gash" on a hetero site.

As you mentioned there are a few sites that feature post-op content.

However usually the models are white, or Asian.

Once we women of color go post, we go into the "Post-op protection program (PPP).

So "you can't get down with PPP".

More like 4-6 post op sites, but mostly Brasilian and Asian, so I get your point. Shemale Yum has a section dedicated to Post-Ops and I certainly am for seeing more on Black Tgirls as we've only had one Post Op model on this site. I think it's really fucked up that guys go 'hog wild' for girls with not a single ounce of breast tissue (no offense to you ladies), but if a girl can't get erect or is post op people don't want to see them. We should celebrate the trans who complete their journey, especially in light of the many that go forever with little to no changes. We should appreciate the beauty of trans even if they can't get aroused because they are following their hormone regiment and aren't as rock hard as some may want them to be.

All of that sounds nice, but remember that porn viewers think with their dicks, not heads, when deciding what they want to see. As much as TS like to think everyone watches (or should watch) TS porn just for the femininity, reality says that this obviously isn't the case. Most viewers prefer full functionality, just as I'm sure the girls prefer their men to have working parts as well.

Celebrate and appreciate the journey? For the girl this is a journey, but for the viewer this is only jack off material. That is very fucked up, but selfishness is a natural human tendency.

As for the OP, I agree there should be more PO material out there. I personally don't think TS lose hotness with SRS. They lose a sex organ, but get a little more "naughty" since the gender bending is pushed to another level where the line between male and female gets even more blurry.

Unfortunately, I've only seen a couple hot PO girls, only one was hot, candy from this site.

I know what you are getting at, but there has been too many examples to prove that full functionality isn't really key. If the model is pretty, and has her performance on lock (taking dick like a champ!) and the marketing is behind her than she will be just as popular as any other model.

I absolutely do not believe that selfishness is a natural human tendency. It is a learned trait that we pick up, and with this capitalist society, it's fostered from an early age. Humanity would have died out long ago if we were selfish and didn't work together for the common good, during the Earths near extinction level events.

It's a journey for many viewers as well, ask any fan of Sexxy Jade, Sheeba, etc which is to say the models whose transitional steps has been captured through the eyes of the porn producers lens.

It is no no surprise given the nature of the forum that the men are primarily concerned with the functionality of the models and escorts. From a number of responses I am getting the inference that the men feel that the majority of transwomen are engaged in the sex trade, and that they would continue to do so after their surgery.

The percentage of women engaged in the sex trade is not germane to this particular topic, so I shall not dwell on it, other than to say that there is a very high percentage of transwomen not involved in the industry. And I am not merely referring to the mid-life crisis, white transwoman who takes her 401K or re-mortgages her home, and jets off to Thailand, and returns with a neo-vagina.

Rather I am going to speak about the women whose goal was to assimilate legally, socially, occupationally, and functionally into all aspects of society, and most likely will live in stealth.

Many women from the day they start their transition are also planning for life post transition. They are furthering their education, garnering marketable skills, to ensure a comfortable and viable standard of living.

As has been pointed out if a post op who was engaged in the the sex trade pre operatively continues to attempt to work in the trans-community, she will find that her "value" has gone down to the trans-attracted men who were primarily interested in her for her penis. She could of of course "work the other side of the street" with the natal females, however at some point this too becomes less of a viable option as she begins to age out of the market.

Ideally a woman that contemplates GCS should have made preparations for her life before and after GCS. She should have the afore-mentioned marketable skills in place as there is no guarantee that just because she has a vagina she will get "wifed up", or that her life will now be worry free.

Thus a woman that has taken the correct steps and done the proper planning doesn't worry very much that there is little to no love for her in the transcommunity.

She realizes that the "trans" prefix in trans sexual / gender denotes a crossing over.

She realizes that though she may have had a trans-past, that it is just that, her past.

Something I had thought long lost... I often say logic is the witchcraft of our era... well... often since a couple of weeks ago... and whenever it's relevant.

There aren't a lot of women here who can give us the outlook of a post-op woman, so in this topic I was especially hoping you could shed some light. In all honesty I never thought to ask, perhaps because I don't have a lot of dealings with post-op women.

While by no means my occupation, I have done a tremendous amount of
study and research formally and informally, on transsexualism and
transgenderism.

Thus my job here and elsewhere in cyber-space is to educate, advocate,

You're doing a bang-up job. I don't often find people I can call smarter than myself. Especially not on the internet. ( Sad part is, I don't even think I'm that smart... )

If I ever manage to muster up some questions in this addled brain of mine I'll come to you... And not just because I can't go to anyone else.

And humble as well. Quite interesting. Wasn't Einstein also a well known... playboy, for lack of a better word?

Stop me if I'm getting too personal but... as a post-op, do you still engage in anal sex? If so, is it more or less pleasurable than vaginal sex?

Einstein wanted and enjoyed the company of women, and his intellectual celebrity certainly wouldn't have hurt his chances with the socialites of Berlin or, later, the women of America. The relationships rarely lasted, however – usually once they were established, Einstein cooled off and looked elsewhere. Avoiding deep emotional ties in this way may have given him the solitude he needed to pursue his work, but few would find such behaviour admirable.

I can't remember the last time I had anal sex, it's mostly vaginal for me.

Vaginal feels so much better, and putting anything in my rectum hurts, also
there's no need for preparation; enemas, etc. with vaginal

Basically it's drop panties, insert penis, shake, stir, enjoy. http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l2/magi43/banana-1.gif http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l2/magi43/banana-1.gif http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l2/magi43/banana-1.gif

Since post-ops are visually the same as GGirls, that genre of porn would be competing directly with GGirl porn. And GGirl porn is extremely competitive. The girls have to be very pretty to succeed, except for niche markets like fat girls or granny porn (whom some people consider pretty, I suppose).

Pre-op TGirl porn is a niche market. It can compete with GGirl porn because it offers something unique and different.

I agree very much that post op women are pound for pound the same as natal females, save the ability at this point in time to birth children.

James, to answer I enjoy my vagina very much.

Vaginal penetration as well as oral stimulation are quite pleasurable to me, and I am orgasmic, indeed I am multi-orgasmic.

This is due to not being impacted by a refractory period:

From Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Refractory_period_(sex)

In sexuality, the refractory period is the recovery phase after (normally male) orgasm during which it is physiologically impossible for an individual to have additional orgasms. It is also sometimes defined as "the time immediately following orgasm during which a man cannot achieve an erection." The penis may be hypersensitive and further sexual stimulation may even feel painful during this time frame.

As a post op, I am multi-orgasmic because:

Most women do not experience a refractory period immediately after orgasm and in many cases are capable of attaining additional, multiple orgasms through further stimulation.[1] The female sexual response is more varied than that of men, and there are many women who experience clitoral hypersensitivity after orgasm, which effectively creates a refractory period. These women may be capable of further orgasms, but the pain involved in getting there makes the prospect undesirable.[4]

Post operatively, I would say that my sex drive is very different than pre HRT / operatively. I believe that many admirers and even some medical journals measure post op sex drives by pre op standards, and it's not a fair comparison.

Endocronologically I am a post menopausal woman. I have the same endocrine levels as a natal female, the same levels of estrogen, the same levels of testosterone. And I would say that I have the same sex drive as a natal female my age. If I am turned on and aroused by my partner, then we are going to have bed shaking, headboard and furniture breaking sex.
