ok, i have a really cool chick (ts) that i exchange yahoo im's with pretty often. shes a pretty cool lady and she is pretty popular in the escort world. we have become pretty good friends since she realizes im not ready for a relationship with a working girl (but thats not the point of this post...no tangents please). we were talking about the recession and i had told her what i had been reading here about people being layed off, down sized and cutting back on paying for porn and escorts. she surprised me by saying that she has made more money in the recession than in 'regular' times. i asked how is that? she says that lots of girls have no since of business and are out other touch with reality. shesaid they are 'trying to flip houses in 09 at 06 prices'. she said she used to charge $250 an hour when things were good. she now charges by the quarter hour at discounted rates. 15 minutes is $60, half is $100, full is $160. she says she also offers strip shows with lap dancing and other alternative services. she says that her daily workload has increased tremendously and that she now works off of volume instead of waiting for her once a month big clients. shes pretty astute. my question is do you think this will be the ' new ' thing?

It may not be the "new" thing for all - but it's the way to go. Instead of offering one service, offer multiple services catering to the client at different price and time points ...

i can see how is could work. i had to cut my memberships to the 2 porn sites i patronized regularly in efforts to cut expenses...couldn't justify spending $60 a month on websites i only visited maybe 3 days a month...i would definitely support an 'a la cart' menu of sorts
