Can We Discuss 'Tranny' parties

Maybe its a cultural thing that I just don't get. I won't name names but I took the plunge this weekend and finally went to one of the more popular ts parties in nyc this weekend.
I was in nyc for business and decided to check one of these things out seeing as we don't have that kind of thing in the dc area.
First of all, I wouldn't call a bunch of old lame weird lookin dudes holding up a wall drinkin heinekens a party. Im gonna be real, the shit was more like a whorehouse than a party, at least as what I consider partying (40/40 club, club love in dc, etc). Girls charging dudes to dance (what they call a lapdance...no nudity, just a shortie grind dancin on ya lap), music was whack, just not a good look at all. Now, to be honest there was a about 10 dimes up in there but overall their attitudes were more 'get money' like than 'im here to party'.
Is this typical for ts party or did I just go to the wrong spot? That's a hell of a first impression...im normally the type to buy the bar out every now and then, dance, strike up some good convo and possbly meet a chick or two in a regular (gg) club...but this set up wasn't condusive to that kind of thing.

No, KO you were at the right party. They were ment to be a mingling and dating party. Some mingle, but most now are looking for that "Green Jesus" and are told they can get some there. I'm pretty sure I know who's party that was and sometimes it's cool. To bad on your experience.

Your description is accurate. Big hustle factor. Bunch of "old lame weird lookin dudes" as you put it. I'm a little old but not too lame or weird, unless maybe I'm deluded. :)

I found the scene depressing and didn't partake. I don't mind paying, but when it's 100% about the hustle and there's no chemistry I lose interest. I might have picked wrong nights, though.

What's a little strange to me is that there are no corresponding scenes like this where GGirls work (in the USA). Maybe some stripclubs approach this, but even there the girls are normally not that direct in their hustle. Not that I would want that, but it's a very curious difference.

Don't get me wrong, the hustle would have been cool if they were actually stripping lol but I fail to see why anyone would pay 20 and 40 bucks to have some girl just dance on you with her clothes on...that's just lame and depressing.

Atleast at strip clubs u get a lil t&a, a show, some good music, convo and if ya lucky or u good at spitting that game, some sex in the champagne room lol

I went to this TS spot, cause I was told it was one of many spots a very popular TS promotes,and was a good place to mingle with some of sexiest TS's NYC had to offer.I walked in, and definetly felt outta place but,I already payed the cover and was very curious.gotta alot of luv on my way to the bar, I got my crotch squeezed at least three times by some sexy looking TS's.after taking a seat and waiting on my drink, I started to look around,after being a approached one by one,and hearing the same Shit,I new it was more of a pay for play set up.then This gorgeous BTG walked in and headed straight for me,said she saw me pass her on my way in the club,as she was parking her car.after a few drinks,and good convo,we both decided to leave,and take the party to a hotel in midtown.whenwe got there,was waitng for the donation speech,but never came,and I wasnt gonna bring it up.turned out to be a real good night and we ended up spending that night and most of the next together.she had done some shoots on the site in the past.said she asked to have them taking down,I dont see them on here anymore.Been back twice since,actually this past weekend,and got lucky again with a young BTG visiting from out of town she drank like a fish,but when we got to the hotel,she definetly made up for it.we made plans to meet up again this weekend.Tried to play the non working girl role,but I knew better.But I'll go along with it and see what happens.

Nah man, if I have to do all of that, i'm good. I just did it to say I did it and to experience it for myself, rather than assuming how these things are. I'll just put it in the "not for me" category and keep it moving.
