Sparked by this convo I went rummaging through my media archives. The
other night I watched "The Fugitive" on dvd - 500 channels, and "On
Demand" and there was nothing I wanted to watch. :confused:

The next day I went through my old audio cassettes looking for something to
sample. Found a few tapes that were inaudible due to tape hiss and oxidation.

I did find one that I don't even remember making. I will archive it to cd - .mp3,
put it on my Ipod. I will also sample it, there are a few Hindi Hop, trip-hop,
and acid jazz songs I have been working on.

That reminds me of the BT Express album I found in my grandma's belongings after she passed. I'm so pissed someone took that after I said I wanted it... even if I didn't have a record player... BT Express is the shit. >_<

Watch the movie just released on DvD The Warriors Way last night, pretty good movie. :)

Dong-gun Jang and lol Kate Bosworth :P the best aspects are the action as the story did teeter to "oh no's" territory.

I don't know either of those people... I need to expand my collection of films. Right now I feel like gathering more Shaw Brothers films.

Yeah, the film was new to me as well. I caught it on a whim, and again, the action sequences are the highlights of this movie.

I don't so much mind a film where the action is the highlight unless the story suffers because of it as you said it did. That was one thing I liked about the movie Faster. The story was more to the sideline but still kept you interested. Not enough action movies manage that well enough.
