Many has been the day that I have seen a intelligent, nice looking,
professional man of color with a woman of the "caucasian persuasion".
Sure that she may have had a great personality, was probably also
intelligent, but in many of those instances she was far from a dime piece.
In my mind I'm saying to myself how and why would he choose her over me
or one of my Sisters.
Over the years I've dated men and been in relationships with men of all races
and ethnicities, I like to call myself the United Nations, or the Benetton of
colors of love.
I can and would be in a relationship with a man of any race that will treasure,
value, love, honor and respect me.
Sadly the "bruthas' are often-times half-stepping, not taking care of home,
have baby mama drama, want to be players, and other-wise just don't do
right.
It actually has been men of other races who have often-times cherished me
more than my own race. That and they are very quick to want to wife up
Becky over me.
So for me, what's good for the goose is most definitely good for the gander.
If he is going to cross the color line, I have no problem doing so also.
I truly, truly love my Black men, I am extremely proud and knowledgeable of
my heritage, and there is nothing more beautiful than when you are in a
relationship with a "do right" Black man.
But I'm not going to be lonely or settle while Becky takes the cream of the
crop of our Black men, so Latino, Asian, caucasian men, holla at your girl.
