One point to understand, I'm not an employee, only a freelance photog (Independent Contractor), and even if I was an employee for any company I wouldn't expect or ask for any assistance. From a business perspective, it seems absurd, this is a porn company not the Oprah Winfrey Show. When I first started I had some stumbles and after paying models and other expenses I had a few shoots rejected (which isn't easy to swallow) but a learning experince, realizing that any shoot could potentially be my last is a great motivator to do as good as I possibly can lol. It made me step up the techincal (lighting and such) quality and I think I'm better for it now. Considering some of the work I submit are not the 'hits' other producers bring in, I'm always more than grateful that I'm simply allowed to continue shooting, that alone is more than enough. Life is full of hard knocks, the world doesn't stop spinning for anyone, I see it as another humbling experince.
