Last movie I remember being posted here about the tg experience was that Life is Hot in Cracktown bullshit. That was some cliche crap. This movie actually seems to (and I say that with reserve) actually capture a glimpse of what a young tg really experiences. The clip was excellent. Let's hope the whole movie brings it too.
You know, I forgot about that movie.
Im giving this one a little more credit as I like some of the actors from previous works.

I forgot about that movie too... And I liked it that way... I don't know who the fuck thought Evan Ross could be convincing as a threatening person, but they were wrong.
This film looks to be a great directorial debut and I expect that it will pull in some big awards on the circuit starting with the Sundance festival. There is a good chance with a few wins on the circuit we might see it nominated for an oscar. It reminded me of a couple of other films featuring Transgendered lead roles which, as a film graduate I highly recommend.
The first is Wild Side which, involves a love triangle where two men focus there attentions on a Transsexual prostitute named Stephanie. This is a subtitled film featuring dialogue in French, Russian and some English.

The second film is The Amazing Truth about Queen Raquela which, is filmed much like a documentary but it is obvious the film is scripted. It around Phillipino Transsexual Raquela and her quest to find true love and hapiness.
