Escorting doesn't have as much to do with it so much as the individual person. A chick could have never escorted in her life but have raw sex in their personal life and still be just as much of a concern. HIV isn't a gay disease, or a sex industry disease, anyone can get it from house wives fooling around on their man (or vice versa), to someone doing drugs and catching it and then having sex with a loved one and passing it on.

You know how many women have gotten pregnant while on bc or with dudes using condoms? Accidents can and do happen. With more sexual frequency comes the increased likelihood for more exposure. That's just simple mathematics.

You are still going on the assumption that non escorts are actually having less sex than escorts. That's not always the case, I've been to more than a few sex parties and wives are having sex with all matter of random people. A lot of genetic girls start having sex before they can even drive, and can have just as many if not more sexual partners over their adult lives than most guys. The difference is, girls know how to keep their business on the low better than guys and they aren't as prone (exceptions of course) to guys to fuck friends in the same circle.

Now, lets also factor in that there are infinitely more guys into genetic girls than there are guys into trans women and the potential opportunity for sex partners is sky high, meaning more opportunities to get a STI. Since a lot people (not in the sex industry) tend to have a (it can never happen to me) attitude toward STI until it happens they don't think it's as big of a deal to wear a condom in the first place.
