Absolutely!

But you are in such a position that you can turn the person down for you have a window of opportunities. There are many girls that are not so lucky and will take any guy that shows some signs of interest. Although rarely, if ever mentioned, there are guys that fall in the same position as yourself. When that occurs, the guy is classed as too picky, very hard to get and/or conceited in the eyes of the beholder.
