Ah here you have my biggest problem. I fret over locations so much. I've had some bad experinces with outdoor shoots. Models and I were escorted out of a forest by Park Rangers. Mind you, the models were wearing skimpy outfits but no naughty bits were on display. I've done a few shoots on the beach and in every instance, crowds of gawkers formed though they weren't a problem per se. However; the police also showed up in every instance and sat waiting for a 'wardrobe malfunction' so they could give us "both" :eek: 'indecent exposure' charges, got to love the Commonwealth. Also, to legally film a commercial production in the public space requires a permit from the city, which basically is just filing out paperwork and paying City Hall...
If you happen to have some hidden/private locations to get shoots done, I've long since asked for help with 'Locations' and you already know you are cool people to me and more than welcome to come along. I've also looked into using private residences that people post on vacation home sites or whatever. Total waste of time that was, the nice places (i.e. look better than my suites) want minimum $500 deposit, all have $100-$150 cleaning fee, all require multiple night stays at $150 minimum per night and so on. Basically very expensive and greatly blows my budget out the water, even doing my 4 shoots back to back, and thats assuming nothing goes wrong and is broken or something, then it's bye bye deposit. I'd be happiest with a studio location *DMV studio owners, talking to you* that I can rent out monthly and tailor the sets the way I like. Not asking for hand-outs willing to pay reasonable fees. My credit is shit, so odds are better of me getting laid by those girls on that 'all star list' than getting my own location. lol
Right, about the 'right' equipment. lol I've been meaning to upgrade to the very expensive, very awesome Cool Lights which are far more portable, with way less energy consumption, and Hollywood level lighting. Hard to justify the expense when my standard 'hot lights' generally get the job done, at a fraction of the initial cost. I will still eventually upgrade to Cool Lights as I feel it's the next logical upgrade for me along with new HD Camcorder, but easily looking at around $5-8,000 minimum in upgrades, and with everything I have going on, I will have to make purchases slowly and piece by piece as I can afford them.
This is more of a dream list. Only 3 of these girls would perform with another girl that being Natalia, Vanilla, and Jade. Now if you want to throw in some guys the number is higher.Quote:
