Back in the day, I didn’t have a clue as to what the stroll t-girls called me until one t-girl told me that she got with me because all the other girls said I was cool, meaning I was an “alright” guy. I took that as a badge of honor, if you know what I mean since I was out there every weekend. I always spent a fair and reasonable amount, through negotiation, mind you, but to the girls that resonated up and down the block; girls know who the guys who will and the guys who will bullshit! This labeling bullshit is irreverent; its colloquial shit girls come up with is just plain “ghetto-speak” or slang!
It makes one believe that t-girls think they are above the fray and this labeling won’t come back to bite them on their “cute” little butts! It makes one believe we are living in an alternate universe that customary rules don’t apply! Girls use the age old tactic of looking good to men and then wait to see who will take the bait
Women call men dogs, but in reality, what does that make them? T-girls try and use that same vernacular which is totally absurd; around the canine kennels they call the female dogs’ bitches! Dogs sniff fire hydrants, rocks and trees for identification purposes, dogs don’t piss on each other. I have a dog and I see this behavior every single day! On this very site, dudes call the girls bitches and hoes; one dude has a site called “Black t-girl sluts”! Do I need to say more? On another post, we had a debate on women being called fish! Well, so much for labels, eh?

Secondly, I know that I and a few others on this board will rarely EVER be called a "Tranny Chaser" simply by the way we carry ourselves when in the presence of what we like. My original comment was based on my own perspective and was meant to be intense...because I probably would snap! But normally my reputation and demeanor precede me or proclude me from that type of experience. I abhor the use of labels and very rarely use or refer to them in casual or formal register. As a black professional, I see them used by others and oft times see them applied incorrectly to the point of lunacy. I am professionally successful because I can look beneath the layers people portray, find the real person and use that as my guide for interaction with them. I do recognize how some can 'earn' a label. However, most people have so many layers they normally try to project the one they feel is going to be successful in the environment they occupy. I am not one of those people... thus my strong reaction in my prior post.
I have learned to be true to myself because ultimately its who I am accountable to.;)
