those were just common examples of white lies. One lying about their personality is something totally different, I really wasn't trying to compare

No, the thread is pointless, because he cared not in discussing the topic at hand. It seems more like he was just waiting for an opportunity to talk about your, Opulence and his mutual problems with women. I thought thats what these forums were created for to bring those who like what the site is doing (or don't) with those who run it or star in it. We can't minimize or otherwise try to make it something it's not. But then again I don't know what is on the other forums. More and more I think of the world as a mindless collection of molecules swirling in vortices of energy. But there is, I think, an underlying order to the seeming chaos, though I'm not sure what the meaning of it is. We each map our understanding onto cultural expression and emotion, the mechanisms to deal with an overly complex world. But again, complexity doesn't necessarily imply there is a meaning, it could be just the illusion of meaning.
