This, sense of entitlement, more often than naught brings about certain ideals, of how others are lesser than individuals. This has plagued societies for eons, nothing new. Tends to be one of my personal chief complaints with L.A. where everyone wants to be "the most beautifullest thing is in this world" (I use to love H.E.R ;) ) or friends with that person, though it does occur everywhere.
Example within the TG community: The pretty passable girls, don't want to go out with the obviously unpassable girls to the malls or other (non gay) public places that might end up getting the whole group spooked. Or perhaps, feeling like the only guys worthy of attention are celebrities, other pretty people, or others that can afford random acts of selfish materialism.
I'm not saying everyone thinks this way, there's always exceptions to the rule even amongst the beautiful people. The vast majority fit quite nicely into that pie and it's the majority that ends up ruling the day. Nice guys always finish last.
Those of us that don't rate as pretty and/or rich dont register, we might as well not exist. Looks do affect the way we all think and act. Because my looks are 'sub-par' average at best, I don't try to meet anyone standards (it's all about personality and charm here), or be the 'bee in the hive' of society. I branch out and do what I please, as no one really gives a fuck anyway. I'd be willing to bet, we don't rate as being worthy for potential relationships, we are immediately written off as tranny chasers because we are on this porn site.' Let another celebrity approach you, I'm sure you'll act differently toward him than you do us.
Sorry Jess, didn't intend for this to be a personal snipe at you, just showing how our own looks affect our opinions and actions.
