I had no idea who he was and judging by the photo and knowing we had Sheeba coming in for a shoot, assumed he was some new male talent (was going to question if he had no front teeth?) and you were just making a light joke. I would have also assumed therefore, he was fucking Sheeba and not just a fan photo of your boyfriend?

It was a joke because he wasn't showing his teeth when he was smiling. It was still light when a dude asked if he was fucking Sheeba - you turned it into something it wasn't yet when someone else makes some levity, you take offence.
