However; I do think that the more proper balance of opinions from outsiders (porn viewers/people that can count the number of times they've met trans in person on one hand), actual industry people (producers, models, site owners, etc), girls that just like to post there, is a relief. If the mainstream world only had this BTG forum and it's posters to base all their opinions on trans women on things would truly be in a sad state of affairs. The people that have a negative outlook on trans women greatly outnumber those that have positive non sex related things to say about trans women.

Ignorance is bliss. I think thats due to the fact that there isnt much information you stumble across about TS w/o looking. "In the regular world" they portray TS as someone having a mental issue, a male trying to get off on some sexual perversion, or just in some type on negative light, and without any general knowledge, people tend to believe all the rumors. What else do they have to go off of? I actually had to search to learn more after I met my first "authentic" TS that I cared for.

Yep, knowledge is power, and the world is big and vast, ready to be explored. Thankfully the internet makes things so much easier than it use to be. Trans Advocacy groups online offer a great wealth of information, for the uninformed. :cool:

The difference is that I know and have stated many times that there are good, intelligent, non bigoted black men out there, that don't have to pump their chest about their 'hood, dope boy Down Low' life every other post.
