I wasn't expecting to see any appreciation at all online for this, but it does feel good. I will say that, for laq of a better analogy, being a soldier is a lot like being a mother; a lot of what we do is thankless, we are rarely (TRULY) appreciated, & without us, everything would fall apart...Quote:

Just got around to watching a movie I acquired a week or two ago starring The Office (US) alum Rainn Wilson, Ellen Page, Liv Taylor, and Kevin Bacon.
The name of the movie is "Super" and if you've seen the movie "Kick-Ass" it is most similar to that, when comparing to other superhero films. However; this film is decidedly darker with a more convoluted message, while still supplying some great laughs. Also, like "Kick-Ass" I seriously do not recommend allowing children to watch "Super". It is not that kind of Superhero movie (family friendly) despite the fanciful colors and comic drawings, this is rightfully an "R" rated affair, and I wouldn't want it any other way. :cool:

I was terribly against seeing Kick-Ass when I first heard about it... I was so pissed off when I saw it and liked it.
Dude!! The exact same thing happened here. I got the Kick Ass dvd on a whim and was like "what the hell was I thinking!?!?!?" So, when I saw this Super movie had slipped by me as well, I jumped on it quick. I think the funniest line is "Shut Up Crime!" nah, that's not the funniest, there are too many. I have to watch again and judge. :DQuote:

I'm gonna see if I can find it tonight on Netflix or Demonoid. I had to rewatch Batman Begins because the bootleg I had gotten years ago made me think it wasn't a good movie... Things have changed. o _o
