Just speaking from my opinion. If she were 100% passable I could eaisly have a ts girlfriend. But in the real world, most of the TS I run into escort and are addicted to it. Not that I am all that and a bag of chips, but I can't say that I have had
a herstory of men dealing with me on the down low, and or being a dirty little
secret.

I've been in LTRs, have met the family, friends, and co-workers. In terms of
being perceived as a sex object I have had men lust over me, but both they
and I knew that I was not a fetish object.

I feel that the distinction is due to my level of self esteem. Some women
measure how "real" they are by how many men they can bed down with, or
if the men are at their live's, me I prefer quality over quantity.

Also, I have been fortunate that I transitioned young, got all my work done,
and at the same time obtained an education and marketable skills. So now
I'm post op, have a career, and have assimilated into mainstream society.

Germane to the topic at hand, I personally feel that being in the sex industry
is more of an impediment to being in a relationship that is the fact that the
woman is trans. On a personal note I have dated men who were strippers,
did porn, were gigolos, were slinging, or engaged in other types of illicit
activities and I found it stressful and difficult to deal with.

Dirty, you make excellent, excellent points my man. Just because I browse the transsexual chat lines and websites doesn't make me any different than any other man looking for a woman. Now, I am just as wild about GGs as I am TGs and I never get the ridicule from the GGs about the chat lines and websites. I've never had a biogirl call me a pu--y chaser. Why is it that transsexuals call guys tranny chasers just because we are attempting to put ourselves in the paths of transsexual women? I just don't understand. It's not like I see transsexuals at the grocery store or the gas station. If I saw transsexuals on a daily basis, like I see genetic girls, then that would be something different.
