I don't use BP so it means little to me, but does lead me to wonder how long before a site like Eros will suffer the same fate. On the other hand, perhaps the fact that Eros is a niche site specifically for escorts, and not a community site like CL and BP that keeps it insulated from the mainstream media attention.
Its sad that 1 situation like this can affect a service that has 1000's of other transactions. This speaks to the nature of the internet & PC society we live in.
The real sad thing is this: if the government and all these people decrying the child sex trade wanted to stop it, they would make it legal. That way, bp or craigslist could ask for id and verify age without running afoul of the law. They aren't so much concerned with stopping child trafficking as they are with regulating sexual behaviour.Quote:
