Coming out of lockdown...
... and let's hope I don't curse it with a second or third lockdown! This is just an update to let you know where I believe we are as a company (and an industry) right now and my projections for the coming months.
I believe we managed the content fairly well, and a huge thank you to the models who produced at home for us, and for your patience when the sets weren't quite up to our usual, although I think many of them made up for that in intimacy and horniness. We're now fully back and even in the event of a second lock-down, confident we've enough content across the sites to be able to provide our normal services.
Anti-Piracy - we've been working on a number of anti-piracy techniques and it's sad to see there are still the odd members of our sites who post content to tube sites, seed torrents, or pirate sites. We have successfully removed many of them, and two of them we've taken punitive legal action against. If you look at how few trans production companies there are compared to a few years ago, you'll understand how low the profits are in this niche (otherwise there would be bigger companies than us doing it!) - TransationalFantasies (the old ShemaleStrokers) I believe has stopped producing, TransFixed has stopped producing, and even Evil Angel is producing a lot less.
We're currently the only company producing solo scenes of trans girls, the only company producing regularly in Brazil, the only company producing black trans content and the only company which works with so many trans models - and it's your support, and your partnership with us, which allows us to do that. So posting pirate content does a disservice to the other members here, to the models and without hyperbole the whole future of production for websites that Grooby produces.
Our Pricing - one of the biggest reasons people cancel is the cost - and I completely understand. Often we'll be told that other adult sites are a lot cheaper - so I just want to answer that. As I mentioned above, trans content is a very small niche compared to other porn areas, we have a tiny amount of people interested in it comparative to them. We need to appeal to both a) people who can pay and b) people who want to pay and that number can be very tight.
Much like craft beers, or premium coffee - when you are appealing to a smaller amount of people, each of those customers need to pay more, to get budgets for the companies to be able to produce those products. While you can go to Walmart and get a case of Budweiser for the same price as you may pay for 6x IPA's from an independent brewery. It's the consumers preference for the IPA that they are willing to pay that premium. Porn is the same - you can join Brazzers for a fraction of the price and get delivered their brand of porn, or you can choose to spend your money on a trans porn site which is delivering the content you prefer.
