As far as Detroit is concerned, craigslist is a crap shoot. It has literally turned into "the stroll of cyberspace!" Only some of these girls don't hide under the cloak of the night, they post photos of ggs as the new hook. They use pictures of girls from BTG, with the logo showing, no less! And those that use BTG photos have been called out by guys that have been ripped off. I guess it's a bitch to see an ad of Vanilla and get Urkle with a wig when you show up at her room! There are a lot of angry replys from guys that have been ripped off or robbed by these t-girl imposters. Which makes it more dubious than the streets, because you don't know what you're getting until you get there! Yet, what are you going to do? You roll those dice!!!
However, craigslist does offer a way for a lot girls to stay off the streets and catching cases. And its a good, quick vehicle for girls visiting the city to get a leg up on the game.
Nonetheless, the po-po are scanning the intenet to concoct new ways of hauling these girls in. It's aready in practice here in Detroit with ggs. They just busted a US Senator's husband after he got a bj from a girl he met on the net. One also has to be aware of the entrapment set-ups, too. Now they are casing joints like RRI, Motel6, the most popular sleepover spots.
Most of the girls I've been with lately are from my 'black book' and I get my new action from some of these girl's friends or eros.com. The Detroit girls that are doing anything are on the weekly papers or eros.com and most of them have been on BTG.
I have a comfort level right now. I scan craigslist like most guys to see what's happening. I don't shy away from the site, I just enter with caution! I don't want to deal with any type of drama; faux t-girls, and or the authorities.

I agree with him also concerning Atlanta. Our city is like the grand central for blacktgirls. A lot of them make stops here, whether to live or visit, because ATL is like the gay black capital of the world. A lot of detroit girls have migrated down here, so we are seeing some of the same things. Usually, you can tell a fake ad (GG used for the picture) We all know how the tgirls look and if something is too good to be true, odds are that it is! Here are my personal tips to save yourself some time and money on fake ads:

1.) If the pictures never change, no matter what city or how long the has been up, red flag! It may even be the girl in question, but if she never changes her pics, she may look worse. I know of girls using pictures that are 6 years old.

2.) If you recognize a known model (i.e. Nefertiti, Vanilla) and the phone number doesnt correspond to where they are typically residing.

3.) Usually girls do not use their BTG pics in their ads. Sometimes thats a give away.

4.) Two ads in circulation with the same pics and two different phone numbers.

A lot of girls have their pictures stolen and used. I have taken personal photos for a few of my models and found that girls in different cities steal the pics and work CL with them.

Some girls go so far as to using their real stage name but using fake pics of a GG in the ad. Why you ask? Because they are trying to mask their identity to the gay community. Usually, these are the top tier girls. I know of some fav models of BTG and YUM that constantly use fake pics. That is a crap shoot though. You may get a great looking tgirl or you may get a boy in a wig with tats and a mustache.

Craigslist is an extension of the hoe stroll. You can find some good hoes on the hoe stroll and you can find some good hoes on CL, but the odds are against you for the most part. You can take a pic and throw up an ad in the matter of minutes FOR FREE. This attracts a lot of the undesirables who wouldnt step foot on Eros if you ask me. There is almost no way to track these girls down if something goes utterly wrong. If I was a paying customer, I would stick to EROS. If a girl does not take her escort buisness serious enough to spend money to make money, odds are youre gonna end up with some bad service or worse. CL can be a gold mine, but not in Atlanta.

I don't use craigslist at all really here in the Hampton Roads area of Va. I sometimes go through and see which girls are posting, but don't rely on craigslist for anything. I know just about all the local gals here and nearly all of them use fake pics. Sometimes girls traveling down here will post ads on Eros and Craigslist, but the local gals flag the visiting girls post.

i personaly check the photo & words.the girl has to have several different photos in different outfits, for me to holla
plus if the photo look too professional i stay away, it must be a scam.
then when it comes to the words in the ad, i stay away from short ads like a name n number CALL NOW, i feel more comfortable if the girl takes time to describe herself and says what she like to do and such
in NY the girls aint that hot, i be checking ATL n FL ads, email them to ask when are they gonna visit the big apple

I've found the same thing as others regarding Craigslist. In Philly it's a lot of bait and switch, hotel stick ups, and other cons. There's two BTG on now I really want , but it seems too good to be true. Especially since ones from Florida and I can't locate a telephone number on Eros. I don't want to become one of the guys that posts a warning after they were ripped off. I'll use it to compare shop when I cruise.
