A while ago, there was a posting (aaronk, 7-10-08) about ‘craigslist in your town’ and I wrote a reply about how girls in the Detroit area were using BTG model’s photos to hook clients. However, since that time, certain events have made the pimple to burst. Our own Katie Cokks has blasted a person for using her photos in the guise of her! Katie’s scathing reply was none too-sweet:

I find it deceptive and unfair that someone would steal my images for HIS personal gain. HIS number is 313 632 1060; and he goes by TS MICHELLE.

I commend Katie for defending herself and her images and I personally feel that BTG members should be advocates against these hoaxes and expose them whenever they observe them.
A lot of girls figure they don’t have the necessary requisites to market themselves, so they use established photos and or images to enhance their agendas. They surmise this is a great means to an end, when they know it is not! As they know it’s wrong to plagiarize, any upstanding BTG member should know it is wrong, too! This is the very reason people look upon craigslist as a crap-shoot, or like Forrest Grump would say: “Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get!” I hope this girl gets the message!

Almost all of the photos being stolen from Katie our from are recent shoots together. I've been helping her point out these occurances but truth to the matter, its going to be very hard to stop these scumbags from using her pics or messing up her good name. I guess the only way you can look at it as a form of flattery ;-)
