I think it does matter though. Most people need to identify with someone in the shoot or scene to get "into it" - whether that is being the lesbian in the scene, or being the cameraman watching lesbians is up to personal choice but it's hard to identify being in some of the scenes. The specific reason we wanted to bring in more black male performers was to appeal to more black males, who wanted to identify with the scene and we've done that. I don't always think the best looking or most muscle clad guy does down as well as a joe-average as long as he's a good performer.

This specific scene doesn't really have heat to it so it's hard to judge the male performers ability or participation in it, it may be the chemistry just wasn't there between them but as much as I abhore the people who have to be rude on the comments, I do think the choice of what male performer is chosen, is important to a scene.

First of all:::why do you think Dominic/Chante needs to chose to do anything? What you and others fail to realize is that no one needs to justify their being to anyone but themselves. They live for themselves, not for you or anyone else. One of the worst things you can do is to expect another person to be whom you want or dream them to be. It's self defeating.

Second of all:::I personally know both actors. Each are nice people. This was their first meeting. Not everybody gets an Oscar for their first movie.
I don't care who you are. Most actors only get better with experience. Known fact.
