A Message to Dirty South!!!

I’m going to be what my Native American brothers call a man who speaks with a forked tongue! I lied! I’m going to rescind what I said about not carrying this conversation further, because it seems as though I was made to be a complete idiot for suggesting something that was talked about, in a poll, no less, about what WE want more of from the videos shown on this board!
As an explanation from one of the photographers about my original post, of an idea to take the, ahem, boredom out of the videos, I was given a surgical breakdown of why my suggestion was not applicable, because it would involve a little work and all of the girls are not the same, and we all have to be satisfied with the tediousness of the contemporary shoots; it was not his style! His style, what are WE paying for the changing of his avatars? I mentioned in my post that it wasn’t a knock on any of the photogs! All of a sudden, he’s Atlas, taking on the weight of all the photographers on BTG! It wasn’t about him in the first place! Nevertheless, I asked at the end of my post what do the other members think? And lo and behold, there were some replies! They never mentioned his STYLE! He can't please everyone! Its all about him! But he's really saying he's not going to please me, TVSurfer! That's what his whole retort was about in the first place!
However, if my memory serves me correct, back on November 21, 2008, members were asked by the polling photographer: “I couldn’t figure out how to add a poll to the Better Videos Post so please take some time out to add what you would like to see in our videos in the future. If I miss anything, just add it in your response. Have at it!” I don’t remember if I participated, but I at least, now, I “have at it!” However, my suggestion is “asinine!” No, better yet, it’s from that fool that nit-picks others post about grammar or their correct race or whatever! Miss Cleo could see that!
It’s too difficult; I don’t realize how much work it’s going to involve? He doesn’t work for a dating service! Talk about mailing a letter to you neighbor next door, I didn’t deserve this!
His favs are good candidates and the others are like shooting fish in a barrel or my suggestion was like watching Martha Stewart boiling an 8-pack of hot dogs for thirty minutes! “WTF?” If anyone cares to check the poll, there’s a category for a Cameraman POV, i.e. oral, etc. Its okay from the cameraman’s POV because he’s getting his knob polished and we’re just jerks, jerking off from the thought of it! Give me a break! It’s also strange in the poll replies; more than one member said they would like hear the girls a bit more! Check ‘em out; they’re there for all to read!

You keep repeating the solution to your concerns. It was the model, not him. If a girl is just not camera friendly, there IS NO AMOUNT of directing that can make her speak up and work the camera. Come to Atlanta and I will love to invite you to sit and and see what what really goes on behind the scenes. Until then, this sounds like the fan sitting in the stands yelling that he could do a better job on the field than McNabb. Its harder and more complex than you think. There was a thread last year about better videos and you just said you didnt bother to comment then. Now, it comes up in a thread where someone is showing their appreciation for a hot scene.....but some of you can't resist the urge to turn this into a complaint thread.

Some of these girls just arent going to speak up and excel, no matter how much you poke them. Some do. THATS WHAT SEPERATES THE STARS FROM THE UNKNOWNS, PEOPLE. The ones that can excel under direction or not are the ones you see everywhere (i.e. Jessica Host, Jade, Natassia Dream) The ones who dont will forever have a complaint tagged to their work. It's more on the model than the tog. There is only so much directing we can do before the model has to take the torch and make it a hot scene.

NBA Analogy.......Phil Jackson + Jordan = Championships. Phil can only coach so much before Jordan has to take over and execute to make it all come together.

Last point....The few times I have pushed a girl to takeover and tell about their personal matters (i.e. love life, aspirations), it turned out to be a disaster. You DO NOT want to hear the truth and most girls (believe it or not) do not feel comfortable with a script.

TVSURFER, by no means am I trying to insult your intelligence. I said the idea of doing that on a porn site is asinine to me. Your ideas sound more glamour than porn to me, thats all. I dont see the point of going through a monologue about how a model aspires for a great man to sweep her off her feet and that she is aspiring to be a heart surgeon......then she takes off all of her clothes, jerks off, sucks the cameraman's dick then skeets cum all over her stomach.......

Unless you've worked a number of shoots you really have no idea how difficult it can be simply to get a girl to pull a natural pose. You may think they want to be porn stars, they may think they want to be porn stars - but very few of them have that potential.

We could easily make our job less hassle by hiring the same tried and tested models week after week, the models that we know turn up, perform, can do hardcore to a script, can use their own experiences to improve the shoot, etc. but I think this site would become stale very quickly.

As much as we like those tested models, getting the brand new girls is also a major factor in the success of this site and with brand new girls, comes a different risk and scenario with everyone of them.

As much as a member might want to add his comments about how he wants the shoots to be and as much as we ask for that feedback and try to adapt our ethos to it, should enough members want it, some things simply aren't credible.

Currently, BTG is at the peak of all the years we've been open. The photography team is the best we've had, the models we're getting are the best of the new girls as well as the reshoots with the stars and the site is reflecting that in it's redesign and in the feedback from the members (incl. the dollar feedback).

We're always looking to improve but don't get upset if we say, it can't be done.

I think the fact that we explain ourselves and our actions - and how we run our sites here and give you the opportunity to debate or suggest with our team, is unlike any other site, or most companies that I know of. It's sad that people cannot handle not getting their own way.

Retrospectively, I am sorry I sparked such a controversial note with my post.. I was just trying to compliment who I admire as a superb maker of the type of film I believe this site would thrive on...

I enjoy many of the other photographers shoots, but ALL of Dirty's. He seems to have some formula that just works.... Not the sequences and all, but the vibe of the shoot itself...

I didn't mean for it to turn into a monster debate... I am sorry TVSurfer, if I said anything that offended you or your sensibilities. It was not my intention.

what did I miss here. this is one of most interesting threads i’ve read in a while. anyway, dirty south. yeah, you did a great shoot with victoria but If i may -suggest some advice, if the girl is going to bust on the bed and not themselves, I would advise you and others to use dark color sheets on the beds preferable silk sheets, VP cum shot was incredible, from the distance it travel to velocity it came out to the amount of load. it got me very excited, thereafter as the camera drifts slowly toward her load, its hard to get an overall feeling of her immense cum shot. actually it was a little disappointing and kind of defeats the purpose. white sheets just dose not do justice like black ones ,not to sound racial. lol. just look at andrea cum shot a week ago or so, after she bust an enormous load onto herself, in the midst of her golden brown complexion, one could see all of her load from the largest chunks to the littlest spots. scene went from A to an A+. imo after the cum shot has ended its just more rewarding to see the loads visibly, I just didn’t get that feeling with VP ,but please don’t take offense it still was one hell of a scene
