I'm a fan of dark comedies, even more so than most other comedies aside from stand up, and Tom Hanks does indeed star in a movie with a good few black individuals, including Marlon Waynes in 'The Ladykillers'. I must say, I think you both, Peggygee and TVSurfer, especially as folk who appreciate the english language, may also like this film though I do admit it doesn't stand head and shoulders with the likes of those other big name films we've mentioned.

I tend to keep my eye on folks like Woody Allen or Stephen King who never
seems to have people of color in their films. But I don't get the sense that is
not the case with Hanks.
