I don't doubt that there are people that care, just the people that feel the need to mention it to people who have said pretty much nothing to them in the entirety of their existence.

I see what you are getting at. I don't mind a Rest in Peace for any soul who has left this earth. I certainly don't feel a celebrity deserves more acknowledgement than any other person that has passed, and there are thousands dying every single day.
