I wanted to say Rest In Peace to all those soldiers whose lives have been lost, in particular in this recent helicopter crash. It hit our Va Beach area particularly hard as many of them were stationed at our base here. To all the armed forces though, we thank you for your tireless efforts.

I wasn't expecting to see any appreciation at all online for this, but it does feel good. I will say that, for laq of a better analogy, being a soldier is a lot like being a mother; a lot of what we do is thankless, we are rarely (TRULY) appreciated, & without us, everything would fall apart...
