I have had no bad experiences with TG after I got some experience. Sure, every now and then one or the other of us was not really in the mood, but that's to be expected. In my active phase (now receding into the past), I preferred to meet TG in bars. This helped screen the girls: you buy them a drink, talk to them, and judge how reasonable they are and if there is any chemistry. I never liked calling someone from an ad, though I have tried it. Reviews are amusing, but a strong function of the guy doing the review. Better to meet people face-to-face on neutral territory (e.g. a bar). Then you know what you're getting into. In some sense that would be like regular dating advice: first date is a short coffee, second date a dinner, etc.
