From all the girls I talked to, it's a money thing. They dont like the fact that they get paid this "minuscule" amount 1 time and then you get paid every sale you make forever based on their images and clips. At least that's my understanding. Royalties? For what? For doing nothing, no promotion, no ongoing work? This business can't afford to pay royalties to models, who were paid well in the first shoot.

All this yapping but the top models keep coming back and working for us, because we treat them fairly, we give them multiple shoots over multiple websites, they get exposure to other producers and they get links/promotion opportunities.

The original question was for Sheeba. I haven't seen her go and work for any higher paying non-Grooby companies? Because there aren't any.

Once again I've never paid for ass so that explanation is out. I was just relaying what I've heard from several girls. I didnt say it was right or wrong, thats just how some of them feel.

Although you may have gotten a little too charged up, I AGREE with you. Imagine that huh?

What these girls who say this are doing is posting on Rude or some of these tube sites that pay the poster a royalty. That's basically crowd-sourcing; similar to what Apple did for iPhone apps or more accurately, what iStock did for photography. Now, let me ask you, do you know of ANYONE who has made themselves rich on an iPhone app or an iStock photograph? You probably don't. Why? Because the "royalties" are usually measured in pennies per download. And, you have as much chance of your stuff getting downloaded as anyone else unless you do your own promotion. So, if these girls want to go that route, godspeed. They still won't make any money for the most part. What they need to do is leverage the platform Grooby (and others) give them and grind the game out until they make something big of themselves. Jada is a perfect positive example of using this as a springboard to her own hustle and as I said before there are others.

I highly doubt they are BIG NAMES. The big name girls shoot with Grooby Sexxxy Jade, Natassia Dreams. Those are the 2 biggest name in BTG porn. Thats BS with royalties they act like this is some Hollywood sitcom. Its PORN if they were big name girls they would know that already. Their "royalties" are the money they make off the images (from the photoshoot with grooby or any other company) they used on Eros, Backpage..etc. I hear crap like this alll the time from girls with with these divatrocious attitudes.

Damn, seriously? How often does this happen (i.e. other sites stealing material)? I am asking for business reasons. Feel free to respond via PM.

Sadly there are sites of the tube/torrent site variety that outright steals material from pay sites.

I think what he was referring to is the very bad and immoral process of website owners not paying the % owed to the "affiliate" that sends members to said website. I don't even put up links to people suspected of this practice and really, all potential members of those sites should be aware as well. There are some website owners that are willing to steal from their "affiliate partners" and potentially even more damaging is that they also sell members credit card information to other people in the 'crafting trade' (identity theft). So think about 'whom' you are giving your credit card information to. I've heard that they get away with it so easily as members don't want to potentially blow up their own 'DL' status by taking the necessary steps with authorities.

If you notice, I sometimes mention 'Legalities' when talking about porn. It's my subtle rub against those who don't make performers fill out the Legally Required 2257 forms and those who participate in the above practices. The 'crafting' side of this foul practice goes even deeper and can be hard to spot, but that's a conversation for another time.

I'm very big on informed consent, so now you know and knowing is half the battle. sorry i'm a 80's baby
