Why I Didn't Top And Won't Do A Strap On

When I was a pre op I did not top men nor enjoy them
    performing oral sex upon me.

I believe this was due to two reasons, the first was that
physically it did not feel good to me.

Inserting my penis in an anus tended to hurt my penis.
And though I had vaginal sex on occasion I found that
    also made my penis hurt.

Oral sex performed on me was also painful and uncomfortable.

But for me what far outweighed the physical pain that I
experienced was the perception in my mind that it made
me less feminine, less of a woman.

I guess I subscribed to the traditional role of the women
    as the receptive partner.

As I have often stated the mind is the ultimate sexual organ,
thus if it caused discomfort in my mind then my body would
    not find the experience pleasurable.

Now as a post op, the mental component remains the same,
in that I feel if I use a strap on with a man that diminishes
my femininity. As well as that fact that a strap on would not
give me any pleasure, unless we are talking about the type
that stimulates the vagina at the same time that it is penetrating
    my partner.

Finally, I also feel that my personal insecurities would not allow me
to be with a man that enjoyed being topped as I would always
be fearful that he would be seeking something from others
    that I couldn't provide.

    Question

    Hi there Peggygee!

If you don't mind, I'd just like to ask a few questions:

Why did you find sex so painful when you utilized your penis prior to surgery?

Was it really physically painful or more psychologically disruptive?

Could you ever see yourself in a future "lesbian" relationship?

    Hope you don't mind...

Thank you in advance for answering...

    Love,
    Koanbred

A very insightful post, as usual. Your words are always like a breadth of fresh air.

The first and second and second question are actually inter-woven, in that
insertive sex was psychologically uncomfortable and angst producing, and I
was loath to do it. Thus on the rare times that I would do it, it was also
    physically painful.

As to a lesbian relationship, I am mildly bi, though I prefer the sausage to the taco.

Back when I was pre op, being in a relationship with a woman was not an
option for me, but now sans penis it's a possibility.

For me it is really the personality that sways it for me.

Thanks Remy, and as I have stated before I have mad respect for you, and
your knowledge and respect for the transcommunity.

When I come through the DMV I would love to do lunch or dinner with you
and pick your brain on photography.

And not to make you feel like this is an interrogation, but how does your vagina achieve the same level of moistness as a genetic girl? And are you like many genetic girls orgasmic from mostly oral stimulation?

By the way, thank you for being so open to answer our crazy questions. It really is interesting.

Im going to take a stab at this and assume Peggy has the colovaginoplasty. A section of the sigmoid colon is used to form a vaginal lining which causes the vagina to get "wet". Danielle Foxx has this as well it is more expensive than the traditonal vaginoplasty and has become more popular with post-ops.

First, thank y'all for being interested. Most times on forums like this
    it's "strictly dickly".

    How does it feel?

Well body wise, I am happy for my body. I am happy that I don't have a
body part that I had no use for, and that caused me so much misery.

In terms of orgasm: Multiple orgasms are possible vaginally, clitorally, and via
    the G-spot.

    G-spot?

I see some of y'all scratching your heads, how does a post op have a G-spot?
Our G-spot is actually the remnant of our prostate gland being left post
    operatively.

Related to this is the Cowpers gland, which is found under the prostate
gland, and is responsible for the pre-cum or clear fluids that you see emitted
from the penis. In a post op women that fluid can provide lubrication to the
    neo-vagina.

Also as regards orgasms most of us have orgasms very similiarly to a natal
female. So a finger, a penis, a vibrator, tongue, etc. will do the trick. Hell
pre and post operatively I have been able to come even in a wet dream.

Bottom line, post ops haven't been getting the respect that they should in
the transcommunity, which is cool, becuase for many of us once we go post,
we leave the community, and blend into mainstream society, which is what I
    did.

But the old heads who have had the pleasure of post op poonany will tell you
that basically, for the most part a post ops vaginas', flora and fauna is the
same as a natal female. It smells the same, tastes the same, feels the
same, and can definitely pass the Pepsi challenge.
