Making money in the music business isn't just about selling albums. There are people making $20,000 per show who don't even have an album released. Plastic surgeons don't even get paid $20,000 for giving a tranny a phat ass. When you say "serious money" that's all perspective. If Pumper can do 30 concerts per year at $7,000 a piece that's $210,000 and that could be "serious money" to him. How much is having sex with a tranny on camera worth?
