NY Undercover was one of the better shows of that decade, and then they shat all over that with the last season. I actually remember them making reference to that in a movie that unfortunately I do not remember the name of assuming I ever knew it.

Assuming I ever get a chance to meet you, you think I could watch your copy of Strapped? The BET version is the only version I've ever seen. Sometimes I like the edited versions though if just for the ridiculous novelty of how Snoop can sound like Phil Lamaar in the TV version of Baby Boy. Or the way they get creative with it like " MAN FU-GET'CHU!!! " Or the constant use of " Mother lover!! "

    Quick question there... flat-mates? You're English? o _o There's so much I don't know...

    Regarding Strapped, sure

lol No, not British, just a douche (family guy reference) I do find the term flat-mate to be more appropriate (opposed to room-mate), as we shared a flat/apartment, not a room.

Sweet, I've actually wanted to see the real version of that movie for a while. Maybe I'll pop in next time Emma has a shoot assuming she does.

That makes perfect sense. I guess I just never really made a distinction between the two.

You can get the Jingi Naki Tatakai movies there. I was watching The Proxy War this morning. I had almost forgotten just how much I love these movies. All the info you need is there including a password for the rar files and an alternate link for the non working two for Police Tactics. You just download the rar files separately and then unzip them once you have both.

That's another major reason why I archive material, I dislike editing of
content. I also am not crazy about commercials, I understand why they are
needed, but if that is the case then I will pay for my programming.

A show that truly illustrates the point; my Mother discovered the Sopranos
on A & E. It was so edited for content and language that it was a totally
different show from it's original airing on HBO.

Another example was AMC which used to satisfy my old movie cravings. They
began editing their movies, thus I rarely watch them other than for "The
Killing" the remake of the Danish show. I have also fell in love with "Breaking Bad".

Yeah I noticed that about AMC when watching Terminator. I was all pumped to hear " Fuck you asshole. " in that robotic Austrian voice and no dice... I know it's not exactly a shining beacon of maturity on my part, but that was like my favorite line as a kid and it still stands. >_>

I'm actually not familiar with that channel, TvOne. I remember when UPN launched it seemed like the new 'Black' channel. Then recently whilst living in hotel and actually watching cable tv, I noticed that 'TBS' seems to air a lot of Ice Cube and Tyler Perry productions for which lead us to dub it "The Black Station'.
Another reason that I love TvOne is because it is owned by Comcast, and
RadioOne, with Catherine Hughes as owner and chairperson.

Radio One owns 70 radio stations in nine major markets in the U.S. In 1999,
Radio One became a publicly traded company, listed under the NASDAQ stock
exchange. As of 2007, Hughes's son, Alfred Liggins, III, serves as CEO and
president of Radio One, and Hughes as chairperson. Hughes is also a
    minority owner of BET industries.

I actually followed "The Killing" and enjoyed watching it, didn't catch the Danish show though. I feel like the finale was a bit, anti-climatic, but will be around for the second season.

Turning his back on the world but exposing his back to no one. Imamura Shoji believes only in his own capabilities. With only the ghost of his slain Yakuza father motivating him, he has survived 'til his 20th year on nothing more than rage. He hates, day in and day out all those around him. Until the day he comes across Kintatsu Kyosuke and for the first time his heart wavers. Unable to accept that there is someone in this world he cannot hate, he resolves to destroy Kyosuke and his friends to prove that his way of life hasn't been completely meaningless.
