Men interested in TS do not face the same hardships as TS. So while this poem is moving to someone whose situation is similar to that of the poet, most men here are in no way familiar with this kind of situation, and thus can't empathize with your struggle.

Me personally, I understand the struggle for TS, but am not particularly moved by this poem from the point of view of this GG poet. As someone said earlier in this post, she is choosing to be treated like shit. If you don't want a man that treats you like shit, stop accepting such treatment. She should stop blaming the dude for treating her like that, and instead blame HERSELF for allowing such treatment. It's not the man's fault for viewing her as a skank on the side if she chooses to accept being a skank on the side.

The situation is different for TS, since the field of men that are willing to be "out" is much smaller for them. But GG have far more options and have no excuse at all.
