Well, I mean... clearly in the fantasy you do it as efficiently as a ninja. >_> I mean, in real life it'd just be plain stupid. Gimme a little credit.
Also I don't have any idea how slim and frail you are. I never really got a look at you beyond head and shoulders. Kinda hard to tell really.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not totally helpless. As a frame of reference, I'm taller than M, and just a little thicker but really close to same body type as M.

Not the greatest movie I've ever seen, but be damned if I wasn't rooting for the Apes to take over the world.
I would have liked the movie better with less time being spent on the research of what makes the Apes smarter. Nothing new there, stupid and greedy humans fucking with mother nature in their quest for financial gain. More time should have been spent with them taking over human civilization, and how they form their own civilization. As much as I like James Franco, (Milk anyone!?!) the human actors performances felt phoned in. The highlights of the movie are all the Ape action sequences, which there are many, but just shy of being 'enough'. Also, there were some cool Easter Eggs, in the movie "Lost in Space" that made me smile from ear to ear and reminded me of the Easter Eggs Marvel is wont to drop in their films
It almost pains me to say this as I am a huge Tim Burton fan, but this was better than the remake. Though now, I feel like buying that and watching again to see if this franchise does have some legs for more movies down the line, because I gotta say, I do enjoy the Planet of The Apes universe they've created and brought forth to the modern times. Better than some of the recent Aliens taking over the world movies.

I wanted to say Rest In Peace to all those soldiers whose lives have been lost, in particular in this recent helicopter crash. It hit our Va Beach area particularly hard as many of them were stationed at our base here. To all the armed forces though, we thank you for your tireless efforts.

Tall chicks are hot. There was this chick when I was in college who had to be at least 6'5'' if she weren't so dumb, and most assuredly not into guys shorter than her... I would have... gazed awkwardly far more often...

Ironically though... Planet of The Apes doesn't indicate any great change since... humans are classified as great apes. >_> It's pretty much just like calling it " Planet. "

Very good point!!! I'm glad you said as much, as people also always feel the need to separate themselves from "animals" in general. There was a point in the movie, where a particularly nasty guy says "get your filthy ape hands off of me" or some such. I was thinking, dude you are the one sweating and covered in dirt, apes spend copious time grooming themselves and is likely far cleaner than him.
It actually represents the fact that humans like to feel superior because of our intellect, but given just a slight boost to the other apes and they clearly stand stronger and better suited to survival compared to humans.

The intellect of man has indeed set it apart from the animals. But at the same time, it has set it apart from nature as well. As I sit here on this laptop inside this cramped basement apartment from where I cannot see the sky, I wonder just what the cro-magnon man would think, could he think, of the way we live today... And then, having said cro... I want to go watch Cro. >__>
Is it man's nature to be violent? To subdue all that is around him including his brethren? To treat his mate not as an equal, but as an object? Even if man were to one day reach the utopia he so often seeks... would he then seek to control it? Is it possible at all for man to find peace of mind or to grant it to others? Or is man's peace of mind within the lack of peace within the world...?
Stupid brain... shut up!!! .....
There we go...
