As far as Mr. Lannister's statement, I've no need to wear my identity like armour because I'm not really that obsessive about what people think of me. Either people like me or they don't. ....and I totally agree with you to G1. I had a talk with BK last night, after she expressed her discontentment with the forum sentiments. One of the points I made to her was that the problem lies with the way people tend to convey their points of view. As you've stated, G1, we have to be able to express our views without being so offensive. For example, I could have exploded and been disrespectful to Sasha after my name was mentioned, but I didn't because bitterness and uncivilized words won't solve anything. The chief purpose of a FORUM is to discuss issues, but that becomes difficult when people are shouting obscenities at one another.

Listen, the main reason these types of debacles occur is because of the sex industry. People who work in the sex industry have to deal with all kinds of clients with all kinds of bullshit up their sleeves. After a while, I can see how a girl like Sasha can get frustrated with guys, their bullshit and "games." So, I understand Sasha's POV. However, the way her message is conveyed is the issue here. Same thing with Indy. I can understand Indy's argument as well. Indy likes the company of transsexuals and he has no reservation about being submissive with transsexuals. To me, there is nothing wrong with that. For Indy to be ridiculed and talked about for liking what he likes is really, as he stated, "the pot calling the kettle black." After all, Sasha is a Top. So Indy's argument is: "How in the hell are you gonna dog me for liking to be a bottom for a transsexual, when you are a transsexual that likes to top men? So, in essence, you're dogging the same people that's putting money in your pocket."

So, I see both sides of the arguments here. Indy tends to speak with a "matter-of-fact" tone that can be rather offensive, BUT I see his points. Indy has told me before, that I'm soft and I kiss these girls' asses. I expressed to him that I'm just not the type to explode on people in that way, especially a female and why would I dog the very people that I admire? That little conversation that Indy and I had did not turn into a big brawl of negative words. Why? Because it's the way in which we spoke to each other. Words can be very damaging, especially in a forum where there are already controversial topics such as the sex industry where people tend to judge others.

Sasha, being aggressive and dominant by nature, fires back if she feels threatened or offended. I understand her because she works an industry where people judge her for what she does. She's also objectified and is looked at as a sex object because of the work that she does. Not only that, Sasha is also a transsexual and just because she has fans that love her, she still deals with general society that either doesn't agree or can't understand transgenderism. So she deals with BS on all sides. Human nature is to come out swinging when backed into a corner. I definitely understand and feel Sasha's points.

I would like to see an open forum done on Skype or something, where we can all sit down and calmly talk about the stereotypes and mis-perceptions. After speaking with BK last night, I now know what a "tranny chaser" is. Prior to our conversation, I thought that transsexuals basically referred to all guys as tranny chasers. So now I don't feel offended when I hear a girl say that word because I know she's not referring to me. The point is that after a civilized conversation by two people who sit on two seperate sides of the fence, there was a common ground established by which an understanding was attained.
