I have to admit, while I did agree with a couple choices Shane wanted to make, (though not his execution of said choices) I'm glad to see this broken triangle come to an end. It felt like the drama was just going on and on. I thought it was symbolic how both father and son killed Shane as well. Overall, the episode seemed nearly perfect and I'm anxiously awaiting the finale.

Looks like they've already cast The Governor for the next season, which goes into production in April.

am i the only one bothered by Carl just randomly appearing like a ghost child at the most inopportune times? like where the fuck is his moms? this little bastard just happens to show up after his dad kills shane. the week before that he shows up just when dad's about to kill Randall. Yeah, Lori was going a bit 'entitled' in her rant toward Andrea. I will say that the distribution of duties is important. Whether you choose to stand guard or maintain essences of civility by cleaning and cooking it all helps to keep people sane and feeling like there is some sense of normalcy.

Just saying women should be in the kitchen is very dangerous though. For example, shit hits the fan and the women are needed to take up arms, you want them trained and knowing what they are doing with firearms not worrying about getting their nail broken.

Rape is never debatable.when a woman tells you no than that means no.it doesn't matter what you had and the woman had before.if she says no and you decide to take it any way it's rape.no shades of gray.

In a world without law and order, you can still be a sociopath, which is very dangerous in that you would lack a sense of moral responsibility.

murderer is a funny subject, I'm a pacifist at heart and am even against the death penalty, and trophy hunting. If it's not in self defense I just don't agree with killing someone. After looking up the term murderer, yeah Shane was certainly that, despite the fact that he 'saved' Lori and Carl. The death of Otis can be perceived as nothing more than a revenge killing.


Shane being a rapist is not debatable. A person says no, that's the end of it. All that transpired before is irrelevant

Maybe he was a sociopath. But the fact of the matter is, he was focused on keeping everyone safe. Not just a way of living that isn't going to cut it anymore. People seem to over look that he wasn't acting out of any misguided sense of power, but for the over all good of the people he was looking after.

I'd hardly say killing Otis was for revenge. That was much more of a sacrifice than anything. Not saying it was right. But I'd probably do it too. It's you or me. Or rather, it's you.
