With all due respect, your analogy is pretty weak, in my opinion... Marlon Brando read the script a few times, learned his lines, had converations with the actors and actresses and I am sure wit hMr. Coppola, who MAY HAVE in fact instructed him to at some point pick up the cat, stroke it and utter the famous line. The reason you don't see that on sscreen is that it is a film... Not an episiode of Who's Line Is It Anyway?.. I consider film like Classical music, where 99% of the outcome is EXPECTED because of the script... I consider a shoot like the ones on this website like Jazz music, where at least 90% is improvised, because in all reality, not many people buy the acting bit when the person in the position of doing the acting is not about ACTING.. they are about (I am not saying all of them) pleasing the audience, no matter what it takes... It's not about realism or drama, it's about sex and sex appeal... If they are, as I said, like Katie Coxx, Victoria Porche, London, you know... the extroverted girls who are super into doing that sort of thing, let them do their thing, BY ALL MEANS!!! I think those results are sure to be amazing.. but to try to coax the same type of performance from say Andrea, who incidentally is hot as fuck and blew a RIDICULOUS load last week, would probably not work.. She is serious and more on the quiet side... I don't expect her to try to seduce me with words or a performance... just want her to look sexy, play with herself and do her thing, in the framework provided....

That is all I'm saying man.. some of these girls are super hot but have little "stage presence" for lack of a better term.... I respect Dirty South’s expertise and professionalism of what he does more than anyone on this board! I’ve written numerous replies of how I enjoy his work. I have never got into critiques of what he should or shouldn’t do since he’s been with BTG! I made the ego remark in jest (note, the smiling face), I think I'm beyond hating anyone because they possess certain skills or abilities. He asked me in a general manner and I responded in kind. The way you responded to my post as if you were Luca Brazzi, ready to bust my knuckles because I made a suggestion to a guy you just praised! I say to you again, it was just a suggestion!
The photographer asked me to elaborate on my suggestion and I did that to best of my ability. I had an idea of what I wanted to convey and I think I spelled it out simply enough that everyone could understand it! If you have an opinion of film or me that pulled the bark off your tree in my post, then PM me, we can discuss it like people. However, I think your retort was totally out of context to the subject.

Its not as easy as you assume it to be. Even the seasoned girls need direction. No matter how much off camera coaching, some girls are not going to be comfortable answering questions, let alone do a monologue about themselves. We try our best to make our presence unoticeable but when a model keeps messing up on lines or misreads our hand signals, it makes for the dear in the head lights look and stalls the flow of the shoot. It is quite possible but I personally dont feel like being held up in a location trying to get a model to repeat a script correctly. I've tried my hand at it before and its just not my style.

However, as far as the girls not having a prospective of being a porn star, well they will use that premise in their eros, craigslist and other ads to promote themselves.

They also claim to be 5'7", 150lbs with 9" dicks. Do you believe that too?

One particular girl would be highlighted as the girl who is going to give her personal viewpoint of life, love, sex and her aspirations. I agree and trust me, I hate quiet videos and I urge my models to talk. At the end of the day, most of these girls have done less than 2 or 3 shoots. We have a combination of professional girls and amateurs. Some girls are going to be better than others and there is not much you or I can do about it. If you put Jade, Katie, etc. in front of any photographer, they will perform. They are naturals. Some girls just cant do it as well no matter who is directing them.

Victoria Porshe was VERY quiet in her first shoot in 2007. She was very shy and it was all new to her. When she got into her second shoot, everything was on auto pilot and she performed GREAT with very little direction or quiet moments. It wasnt that I did any better, its because she improved. It all boils down to the model and her confidence. You dont like her performance, bitch at her, not us.

I’m going to be what my Native American brothers call a man who speaks with a forked tongue! I lied! I’m going to rescind what I said about not carrying this conversation further, because it seems as though I was made to be a complete idiot for suggesting something that was talked about, in a poll, no less, about what WE want more of from the videos shown on this board!
As an explanation from one of the photographers about my original post, of an idea to take the, ahem, boredom out of the videos, I was given a surgical breakdown of why my suggestion was not applicable, because it would involve a little work and all of the girls are not the same, and we all have to be satisfied with the tediousness of the contemporary shoots; it was not his style! His style, what are WE paying for the changing of his avatars? I mentioned in my post that it wasn’t a knock on any of the photogs! All of a sudden, he’s Atlas, taking on the weight of all the photographers on BTG! It wasn’t about him in the first place! Nevertheless, I asked at the end of my post what do the other members think? And lo and behold, there were some replies! They never mentioned his STYLE! He can't please everyone! Its all about him! But he's really saying he's not going to please me, TVSurfer! That's what his whole retort was about in the first place!
However, if my memory serves me correct, back on November 21, 2008, members were asked by the polling photographer: “I couldn’t figure out how to add a poll to the Better Videos Post so please take some time out to add what you would like to see in our videos in the future. If I miss anything, just add it in your response. Have at it!” I don’t remember if I participated, but I at least, now, I “have at it!” However, my suggestion is “asinine!” No, better yet, it’s from that fool that nit-picks others post about grammar or their correct race or whatever! Miss Cleo could see that!
